Installation Guide -series plifier and 100V Ceiling Speakers –UM Am
• The 6V ceiling speakers shown above are all 100V type, connected from the COM and 100V output terminals of the amplifier as shown. CC
• The ceiling speakers are connected in parallel and the same applies for packages with different numbers of speakers. se 4
• Each speaker has a rotary tapping switch to set the maximum Wattage it demands from the amplifier .
• Th RM amplifier shown has 4 separate switchable output 100V terminals only the first is shown connected here. e ,
• If the FM tuner is to be used, it is recommended to connect an external FM aerial to the F-connector labelled ANTENNA . “ ”
• Microphones and line inputs can be connected on the input section. Enable phantom power if a condenser microphone is connected to MIC.1
• A pair of RCA connectors on the rear panel labelled LINE O can be used to link the signal mix onto a further amplifier. “UT”
• A 24V trigger from an emergency panel may be connected to the 24V EMG MUTE terminals to mute all except MIC1 in an emergency.
• Where mains power is not available, a Vdc supply may be connected to screw terminals at the rear as an alternative power source. 24
