Das D5 C von AKG ist ein dynamisches Richtmikrofon (Druckgradientenempfänger). Es
wurde speziell als Gesangsmikrofon für den intensiven Bühneneinsatz entwickelt. Durch
seine nierenförmige Richtcharakteristik ist das D5 C am empndlichsten für Schall, der
von vorne einfällt, während es kaum auf Schall anspricht, der von hinten einfällt. Das D5
CS ist elektrisch, mechanisch und akustisch identisch mit dem D5 C, besitzt jedoch
einen knackfreien Ein/Ausschalter.

ANWENDUNG
Grundsätzlich wird Ihre Stimme umso voller und weicher wiedergegeben, je kürzer der Abstand
zwischen den Lippen und dem Mikrofon ist, während größere Mikrofondistanzen ein halligeres,
entfernteres Klangbild bewirken. Sie können daher Ihre Stimme aggressiv, neutral oder ein-
schmeichelnd klingen lassen, indem Sie den Mikrofonabstand verändern. Der Naheffekt tritt im
Abstand von weniger als 5 cm von der Schallquelle auf und bewirkt eine starke Betonung der
Tiefen. Er verleiht Ihrer Stimme einen voluminöseren, bassbetonten Klang.

The D5 C from AKG is a dynamic directional microphone (pressure gradient transducer).
It was developed specically as a vocal microphone for intensive stage use. Thanks to
its cardioid polar pattern, the D5 C is the most sensitive to sound coming from the front,
but barely responds to sound from the back. The D5 CS is electrically, mechanically
and acoustically identical to the D5 C, but has a click-free on/off switch.

APPLICATIONS
Basically, your voice will sound the bigger and mellower, the closer you hold the microphone
to your lips. Moving away from the microphone will produce a more reverberant, more distant
sound as the microphone will pick more of the room’s reverberation. You can use this effect to
make your voice sound aggressive, neutral, insinuating, etc. simply by changing your working
distance. Proximity effect is a more or less dramatic boost of low frequencies that occurs when
you sing into the microphone from less than 2 inches. It gives more “body” to your voice and a
bass heavy sound.

El modelo D5 C de AKG es un micrófono direccional dinámico (receptor de gradiente
de presión). Ha sido desarrollado especialmente como micrófono vocal para el uso
intensivo sobre el escenario. Gracias a su patrón polar cardiode, la sensibilidad del D5 C
es máxima para los sonidos provenientes desde delante mientras que apenas reacciona
a los sonidos que provienen desde detrás. El D5 CS es idéntico al D5 C en cuanto a
sus características eléctricas, mecánicas y acústicas, si bien cuenta además con un
interruptor que no produce chasquidos.

UTIZACIÓN
Por principio, su voz se reproduce más plena y suave cuanto menor es la distancia entre los
labios y el micrófono. A mayores distancias del micrófono, se produce una tonalidad más
reverberante y más lejana, dado que la acústica del local se maniesta en mayor medida.
Puede dar a su voz un toque agresivo, neutro o insinuante, modicando tan sólo la distancia
del micrófono. El efecto de proximidad se produce a distancias demenos que 5 cm y provoca
una fuerte acentuación de los bajos. La voz parece más voluminosa o adquiera un tono intimo
de bajos acentuados.

Le D5 C de AKG est un microphone unidirectionnel dynamique (transducteur à gradient
de pression). Il a été spécialement conçu pour le chant et une utilisation intensive sur-
scène. Par sa directivité cardioïde, le D5 C est particulièrement sensible au son venant
de l’avant et réagit très peu au son venant de l’arrière. D’un point de vue électrique,
mécanique et acoustique, le D5 CS est identique au D5 C, mais possède un
commutateur marche/arrêt ne générant pas de grésillements.

EMPLOI
Plus l’écart entre le micro et la bouche est petit et plus la sonorité de la voix est pleine et moëlle-
use. Vous obtiendrez une sonorité plus froide et plus “reverbérante” en vous éloignant, au fur et
à mesure que l’acoustique de la salle se met en valeur. La voix peut encore prendre un ton plus
agressif, neutre ou sous entendu, etc. simplement en changeant l’écart par rapport à la bouche.
L’effet de proximité apparait lorsque la source est très proche (moins de 5 cm). Des basses
fréquences sont renforcées, ce qui donne à la voix plus de corps et plus de chaleur.
