SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
While using electrical applianc es , in orde r to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock,
and / or injury to persons, basic safety precautions should be followed, including
the f ollowing:
• Read all instructions carefully, even if you are familiar with the appliance.
To prot ect against the risk of electric shock, the appliance,DO NOT IMMERSE
cord set or p lug in water or other liquids.
• To clean, wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and then wipe dry.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children, Never
leave any applianc e unattended when in use. Do n ot allow children or any person
unfamiliar with these instructions to use the appliance .
• Switch off and remove the plug from the power outlet when not in use, before
assembling or disassembling parts or during cleaning. Never pull the cord.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or aft er the appliance
malfunctions, or is d ropped or damaged in any manner. Return the complete
appliance to your nearest authorized service facilit y for examination, electrical r epair,
mechanical repair or ad justment to avoid any hazard.
• The use of any attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by this
appliance manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not let the cord hang over the e dg e of a table, counter, or touch hot surfaces.
Guide the power supply cord neatly so it does not hang over th e edge of a
workshop and cannot be caught accide ntally or tripp ed over.
• Do not ope rat e or place a ny part of this appl iance on or near any hot surfaces (
such as electric bur ner or in a heated oven)
• Do not abuse the cord. Never carry the a pplianc e b y the cord or yank on it to
dis connect it from the outlet; instead, grasp t he plug and pull to disconnect.
• When using an extension cord with your appliance, make sure the extension cord is
correctly wired, and rated for its use.
• Do not attempt to repair the app liance yourself; instead, take it to your Black &
Decker-owned or Authorized Service Centre for repair.
• Do not allow children or animals to come ne ar the work area or to touc h the
applianc e or power supply cord.

Intended Use :-
Yo ur Black & Decker stick blender set has been designed for blending, whisking, beating,
whipping and chopping fo od and beverage ingredi ents. This product is inte nded for indoo r
household us e only.
Before using your Stick blender :-
Rem ove all the pa ckaging from the set. W ipe the appliance with a dry cloth before
using.
Make sure that the a pplianc e is switc hed off before connecti ng to or disconnect ing
f rom the power supply.
Ensure that the voltage rating on the baseplate corresponds to the mains voltage
at your home.
