Der AR-400 ist ein von Dolby Laboratories lizensierter Speziallautsprecher,

der für den Einsatz als Deckenreflexionssystem in einem Heimkino Setup mit

Dolby Atmos® Technologie entwickelt wurde. Durch die Reflexion an der

Zimmerdecke werden durch ihn Schallereignisse über dem Hörer abgebildet

und es entsteht der Effekt eines dreidimensionalen Klangbildes.

Außerdem kann der AR-400, unterhalb der Zimmerdecke an der Wand

montiert, auch als hochwertiger Effektlautsprecher (z.B. Front-High) verwen-

det werden. In einem Stereo-Setup wird der AR-400 zum direktstrahlenden

Hauptlautsprecher und kann, in Verbindung mit einem Subwoofer, auch als

Stereo-Satellit eingesetzt werden. Hierbei wird der AR-400, mit dem Hochtö-

ner nach unten und oberhalb der Ohrhöhe hängend, an der Wand montiert.

Verwendung

Bei Verwendung als Deckenreflexionslautsprecher in einem System mit Dolby

Atmos® Technologie positionieren Sie den AR-400 liegend auf ihren Front-

bzw. Rear-Lautsprechern. Dabei muss die Stoffabdeckung nach oben und

die schmale Seite des Gehäuses in Richtung Hörplatz zeigen. Ein optimales

Hörerlebnis stellt sich dann bei einer Deckenhöhe zwischen 2,20 und 3,70

Meter ein. Beachten sie für eine optimale Aufstellung auch die Hinweise der

Dolby Laboratories unter www.dolby.de und lesen Sie für die korrekte Ein-

stellung des Geräte-Setups die Anleitung ihres Steuergerätes.

Durch die im Gehäuse integrierte Halterung kann der AR-400 problemlos,

mit nur einer Schraube, an der Wand montiert werden. Für ein stabiles An-

liegen an der Wand empfehlen wir hier die Verwendung der mitgelieferten

Gerätefüße auf der Rückseite des Lautsprechers.

The AR-400 is a specialist loudspeaker licensed by Dolby Laboratories and

developed for use as a ceiling reflection system in a home cinema setup with

Dolby Atmos® technology. The reflection off the ceiling creates sound events

above the listener to produce the effect of a three-dimensional sound.

In addition, the AR-400, mounted on the wall beneath the ceiling, can also

be used as a high quality sound effect speaker (e.g. a front high speaker). In

a stereo setup the AR-400 acts as a direct main speaker and can be used in

connection with a subwoofer as a stereo satellite. In this case the AR-400 is

mounted on the wall above ear height with the tweeter facing down.

Application:

To use the AR-400 as a ceiling reflection speaker in a system with Dolby

Atmos® technology simply position it on your front resp. rear speakers. The

fabric cover must point upwards and the narrow side of the cabinet must

point in the direction of the listener. The optimal sound experience is created

with a ceiling height of between 2.20 and 3.70 metres. For the perfect setup

please refer to the instructions of Dolby Laboratories at www.dolby.de and

read the instructions of your control unit to ensure the correct setup of the

device.

The bracket built into the cabinet makes it easy to mount the AR-400 on the

wall with a single screw. For stable wall installation we recommend that the
