Achtung:

Bitte lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch. Heben Sie

diese auf um auch später noch nachschlagen zu können.

Canton kann für Schäden die aus Nichtbeachtung der folgenden Punkte

resultieren nicht haftbar gemacht werden.

Wählen Sie für Ihren Lautsprecher einen ebenen, trockenen und

sauberen Platz entfernt von Fenstern mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung,

Wärmequellen, Erschütterungen, Staub, Feuchtigkeit und extremer Kälte.

Niemals das Gehäuse öffnen. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler bzw.

an qualifiziertes Fachpersonal.

Um Schäden zu vermeiden darf Ihr Subwoofer nur mit der auf dem

Typenschild spezifizierten Spannung betrieben werden.

Um Feuergefahr und die Möglichkeit eines elektrischen Schlages zu

vermeiden darf der Subwoofer weder Regen noch hoher Feuchtigkeit

(> 80%) ausgesetzt werden.

Üben Sie keine Gewalt auf die Bedienungselemente, Anschlüsse und

Kabel aus. Zum Aufstellen an einem anderen Ort lösen Sie zuerst das

Netzkabel und dann die Verbindungskabel zu anderen Geräten. Immer

an den Steckern und nicht an den Kabeln ziehen. Fassen Sie das

Netzkabel nie mit nassen Händen an.

Um die Endstufe des Subwoofers vor Überhitzung zu schützen muss bei

der Aufstellung ein Mindestabstand von 10 cm zu Wänden und Möbeln

eingehalten werden. Vermeiden Sie einen Hitzestau und decken Sie Ihren

Subwoofer nicht durch Gardinen, Tischdecken o. ä. ab. Stellen Sie Ihren

Subwoofer nicht in der Nähe von Hitzequellen auf.

Damit keine Bildstörungen und Beschädigungen auftreten, halten Sie

einen ausreichenden Abstand (min. 1m) von Ihrem TV Gerät.

Stellen Sie nichts auf das Gehäuse des Subwoofers oder vor die Bass-

reflexöffnung. Schwingungen und Vibrationen können zur Beschädigung

von Gegenständen führen.

Stecken Sie keine Gegenstände oder Körperteile in die Öffnungen des

Subwoofers. Stromführende Teile im Inneren des Gehäuses könnten

beschädigt werden. Dies kann zu Kurzschluss, elektrischen Schlägen und

Feuerentwicklung führen.

Falls bei der Wiedergabe Tonverzerrungen wie z. B. unnatürliches

Klopfen, Pochen oder hochfrequentes Klicken auftreten ist der Lautstär-

kepegel umgehend zu reduzieren.

Verwenden Sie keine chemischen Lösungen zur Reinigung des

Subwoofers. Benutzen Sie ein sauberes, trockenes Tuch.

Bei starken Temperaturschwankungen kann es zu Kondensniederschlag

(Wassertropfen) im Inneren des Subwoofers kommen. Warten Sie mit der

Inbetriebnahme bis sich die entstandene Feuchtigkeit verflüchtigt hat.

Der Netzstecker muss jeder Zeit zugänglich sein.

Korrekte Entsorgung dieses Produkts: Dieses Symbol erklärt, dass

dieses Produkt innerhalb der EU nicht mit dem normalen Hausmüll

entsorgt werden darf. Zum Schutz der Umwelt und der menschlichen

Gesundheit sollte dieses Produkt verantwortungsvoll entsorgt

werden.

Die richtige Aufstellung und der richtiger Anschluß des Subwoofers

fällt in die Verantwortung des Anwenders. Canton übernimmt keine

Verantwortung für Schäden oder Unfälle die durch unsachgemäße

Aufstellung oder falsches Anschließen verursacht wurden.

Do not place objects filled with liquids, such like vases, on the

apparatus.

Do not place naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, on the

apparatus.

Never put a hand or a foreign object into the ventilation port. When

moving this unit, do not hold the port as it might cause personal

injury and/or damage to this unit.

If you hear distorted noise (i.e., unnatural, intermittent “rapping” or

“hammering” sounds) coming from this unit, reduce the volume level.

Do not attempt to clean this loudspeaker with chemical solvents as this

might damage the finish. Use a clean, dry cloth.

Use the apparatus only in moderate climates (not in tropical

climates). Strong fluctuations in temperature may lead to

condensation (water droplets) forming inside the subwoofer. Wait

until the moisture has evaporated before starting up the system.

The mains plug shall remain readily operable.

Correct Disposal of this product: This marking indicates that this

product should not be disposed with other household wastes

throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or

human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it

responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.

Secure placement or installation is the owner’s responsibility.

Canton shall not be liable for any accident caused by improper

placement or installation of speakers.

Install this loudspeaker in a cool, dry, clean place – away from windows,

heat sources, sources of excessive vibration, dust, moisture and cold.

Never open the cabinet. Contact your local dealer or a qualified

technician.

The voltage to be used must be the same as that specified on the rear

panel.

To reduce the risk or fire or electric shock, do not expose the

apparatus to dripping or splashing.

Do not use force on switches, controls or connection wires. When

moving the unit, first disconnect the power plug and the wires connected

to other equipment. Never pull the wires themselves.

Since this unit has a built-in power amplifier, heat will radiate from the

rear panel. Place the unit at least 10 cm (4“) apart from the walls,

allowing enough spaces above, behind and on both sides of the unit to

prevent fire or damage. Do not cover the rear panel of this unit with a

newspaper, a tablecloth, a curtain, etc. in order not to obstruct heat

radiation. If the temperature inside the unit rises, it may cause fire,

damage to the unit and/or personal injury.

Please place the subwoofer at a safe distance to your TV set (min. 1m), it

might impair the picture color.

Please do not place any fragile objects on top or in front of the

subwoofer. Vibrations may break the object and may cause personal

injury.
