Before calling for Assistance:
• Check if the malfunction can be solved on your own (see
Troubleshooting).
• Ifafterallthechecks,theappliancestilldoesnotoperateor
theproblempersists,callthenearestServiceCentre

Thisinformationcanbefoundonthedataplatelocatedonthe
bottomleftsideoftherefrigeratorcompartment.
Never call on unauthorized technicians and always refuse
spare parts which are not originals.

1. ON/OFF
Theentireproduct(boththerefrigeratorandfreezercompartments)
maybeswitchedonbypressingthisbutton.TheredLEDindicates
thattheproductisswitchedoff,whilethegreenLEDshowsthatit
isoperating.
2. REFRIGERATOR and temperature adjustment
Usedtomodifythetemperaturesettingoftherefrigerator;confirmation
correspondingtotheselectedtemperatureappearsonthedisplay.
3. Refrigerator display
Showsthesettemperaturefortherefrigeratorcompartment.
4. I-CARE
ControlstheactivationanddeactivationoftheI-CAREfunction(optimal
operatingtemperatureforminimalenergyconsumption).Whenthis
functionisactivated,theI-CARELEDonthekeypadlightsup.Press
andholdtheI-CAREbuttonfor8secondssothatthecorresponding
LEDbeginstoflash;thiswillallowyoutosetthetemperaturetoin
theRefrigeratorcompartmentandintheFreezercompartment.Two
minutesafterthemostrecentuserinteraction,thedisplayentersits
energysavingmode.Toexittheenergysavingmode,simplypress
anybuttonoropentherefrigeratordoor.
5. ALARM
An alarm situation has been detected in the product (see
Troubleshooting section).
6. FRUIT & VEGETABLES:
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertostorefruitandvegetables.Onthedisplay
the“feature”lightwillblinkuntilitreachestheidealtemperature.When
thelightstopsblinking,youcaninsertfruitandvegetables.
The feature does not have any time limitation.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefrozenfoodinthefirst
compartment.Thisiswhywerecommendtoemptythedrawerbefore
enablingthisfeature.Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawer
ofthefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,bykeeping
thefreezertemperaturesetonthedisplay.
DuringtheMTZoperationwithdisplaysettoFRUIT&VEGETABLES,a
hightemperatureoftheenvironmentand/oraheavyuseofthefreezer
couldtaketoanalarmcondition.Itisadvisableto
preventthisproblembychangingthefunction.
WhenthefeatureisON,pleasedonotstorefood
closetotheholesofthedrawer.Whenthefeature
isONyoucanchangethetemperaturesettingin
theseconddrawerofthefreezeronlyonadefined
range(-18°C).
This feature can be disabled:
-Bypressingonemoretimethefeaturebutton
-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ
-Bydisablingthecombinedfeature

7. FREEZER and temperature adjustment
Used to modify the temperature setting of the
freezer;confirmationcorrespondingtotheselected
temperatureappearsonthedisplay.
8. FREEZER display
Shows the set temperature for the freezer
compartment.
9. FISH & MEAT:
Thisfeatureallowsyoutochangethetemperatureof
thefirstcompartmentofthefreezertostoredelicate
food such as meat and fish.
Whenyouturnonthefeature,thedisplayiconturns
onandthetemperaturereachestheidealsettingin
order to store meat and fish.The feature does not
have any time limitation.
When the feature is enabled, you cannot store
frozenfoodinthefirstcompartment.Thisiswhywe
recommendtoemptythedrawerbeforeenabling
this feature. Frozen food can be moved to the
second drawer of thefreezer. This compartment
works independently, by keeping the freezer
temperaturesetonthedisplay.Whenthefeature
isONyoucanchangethetemperaturesettingin
theseconddrawerofthefreezeronlyonadefined
range(from-18°Cto-21°C).
This feature can be disabled:
-Bypressingonemoretimethefeaturebutton
-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ
-Bydisablingthecombinedfeature
10. QUICK FREEZE
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertofreezefoodinaquickerway.
Onthedisplaythe“feature”lightwillblinkuntilitreachestheideal
temperature(orafteracertainamountoftimehaselapsed).When
theiconstopsblinkingandabeepcanbeheardyoucaninsertthe
foodtobefrozen.Ifthestartingtemperatureislowerthan-18°C,the
icon is idle and there will be no acoustic signal.
You can also insert hot food in the compartment. Please wait 30
minutesafteryouheartheacousticbeep.
Thisfeatureautomaticallydeactivatesafter24hours.
Whenthefeatureis enabled,youcanstorefrozenfood inthefirst
compartment.Theseconddrawerofthefreezerworkswiththesame
temperatureofthefirstcompartment.
Inordertomaximizeperformance,pleaseusethespecialdrawer.
Onlyinthesuitabledraweryoucanalsoinserthotfood,oncondition
thatitisdulyprotected.
This feature can be disabled:
-Bypressingonemoretimethefeaturebutton
-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ
-Bydisablingthecombinedfeature
-Automaticallyafter24hours
11.SAFE DEFROST:
This feature allows you to change the temperature of the first
compartmentofthefreezertodefrostfood.
Whenyousetthefunction,theicononthedisplayturnsonandthe
temperaturereachestheidealsettinginordertodefrostfood(about
1°C).
The feature does not have any time limitation.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefrozenfoodinthefirst
compartment.Thisiswhywerecommendtoemptythedrawerbefore
enablingthisfeature.Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawer
ofthefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,bykeeping
thefreezertemperaturesetonthedisplay.
When the featureis on you can modify thetemperature setting in
thesecondfreezerdraweronlyinadeterminedrange(from-18°C
to-21°C).
Inordertomaximizeperformance,pleaseusethespecialdrawer.
Werecommendtoputfoodtobedefrostedincontainerswhichallow
liquidcollectionduringthedefrostingprocess.

-ByselectinganotherfeatureMTZ
-Bydisablingthecombinedfeature
12. HOLIDAY
ActivatesordeactivatestheHOLIDAYfunction(the
HOLIDAYLEDonthekeypadlightsup),whilethe
temperature values +12°C and-18°C appear on
therefrigeratorandfreezerdisplaysrespectively.
Twominutesafterthemostrecentuserinteraction,
the display enters its energy saving mode (see
I-CAREfunction).
13. OFF:
Thisfeatureallowsyoutoturnoffthefirstfreezer
compartment.Whenyouactivatethisfeature,the
icononthedisplayturnson.
Whenthefeatureisenabled,youcannotstorefood
inthefirstcompartment.Thisiswhywerecommend
toemptythedrawerbeforeenablingthisfeature.
Frozenfoodcanbemovedtotheseconddrawerof
thefreezer.Thiscompartmentworksindependently,
by keeping the freezer temperature set on the
display.
Inordertoenableanddisablethisfeatureyoumust
presstogetherandfor3secondsthekeys“QUICK
FREEZE”and“SAFEDEFROST”.Anacousticsignal
will confirm activation or deactivation.
This feature can be disabled by turning off the
combined feature
