1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Diese Lautsprecher mit Zertifizierung nach EN 54-
24 sind für den Einsatz in Sprachalarmierungs -
anlagen zugelassen. Für den Betrieb in 100-V-
Anlagen ist ein Audioübertrager vorgeschaltet. Das
Modell ESP-50AB / WS verfügt über zwei einzeln
anschließbare Breitbandlautsprecher mit je einem
Übertrager und eignet sich darum für ELA-Anlagen
mit A/B-Verkabelung nach EN 60849.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Der Lautsprecher entspricht allen relevanten Richt -
linien der EU und ist deshalb mit gekennzeichnet.

Der Lautsprecher ist nur zur Verwendung im In -
nenbereich geeignet. Schützen Sie ihn vor Tropf-
und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
GVerwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Wasser oder Che-
mikalien.
GWird der Lautsprecher zweckentfremdet, nicht
fachgerecht montiert, falsch angeschlossen
oder überlastet, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und
keine Garantie für den Lautsprecher übernom-
men werden.
3 Installation
1) Vor der Installation des Lautsprechers die ELA-
Anlage komplett ausschalten, damit die Laut-
sprecherleitungen spannungsfrei sind!
WARNUNG Im Betrieb liegt berührungsgefähr -
liche Spannung bis 100 V an den An -
schlussleitungen an. Die Installation
darf nur durch Fachpersonal erfolgen.
Achten Sie auf die Belastung des ELA-Verstärkers
durch die Lautsprecher. Eine Überlastung kann
den Verstärker beschädigen! Die Summe der
Leistungen aller angeschlossenen Lautsprecher
darf die Verstärkerleistung nicht überschreiten.
Soll der Lautsprecher endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben
Sie ihn zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung
einem örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
2) Den Montagebügel vom Lautsprechergehäuse
abschrauben und an gewünschter Stelle der
Wand befestigen.
3) Den Lautsprecher über den Klemmenblock an -
schließen bzw. bei dem Modell ESP-50AB / WS
die Lautsprecher über die Klemmenblöcke
anschließen: Die Klemme mit der weißen Ader
und die Klemme der farbigen Ader, die der
gewünschten Nennbelastung (Lautstärke) ent-
spricht, verwenden.
Beim Anschluss darauf achten, dass die Laut-
sprecher alle gleich gepolt werden (z. B. weiße
Ader = Minuspol).
4) Das Lautsprechergehäuse am Montagebügel
festschrauben.

PA Wall Speakers
Please read these operating instructions carefully
prior to installation and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
These speakers with EN 54-24 certification have
been approved for voice alarm systems. For oper-
ation in 100 V systems an audio transformer has
been integrated. Model ESP-50AB / WS is equipped
with two full range speakers, each provided with a
transformer. These full range speakers can be con-
nected separately. Therefore, this model is ideally
suited for PA systems with A / B wiring according to
EN 60849.
2 Important Notes
The speaker corresponds to all relevant directives
of the EU and is therefore marked with .
GThe speaker is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water and splash water,
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range:
0 – 40 °C
).
GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
GNo guarantee claims for the speaker and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or mate-
rial damage will be accepted if the speaker is
used for other purposes than originally intended,
if it is not correctly installed or connected or if it
is overloaded.
3 Installation
1) Completely switch off the PA system before
installing the speaker so that the speaker cables
will not carry any voltage!
WARNING During operation, there is a hazard of
contact with a voltage up to 100 V at
the connection cables. Installation
must be made by skilled personnel
only.
Observe the load of the amplifier by the speakers.
An overload may damage the amplifier! The total
load of all speakers connected must not exceed
the amplifier power.
If the speaker is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.
2) Unscrew the mounting bracket from the speaker
housing and fasten it to a suitable place on the
wall.
3) Connect the speaker via the terminal block or in
case of model ESP-50AB / WS, connect the
speakers via the terminals blocks: Use the ter-
minal with the white core and the terminal with
the coloured core corresponding to the desired
power rating (volume).
When connecting, make sure that all speakers
have the same polarity (e. g. white core = nega-
tive pole).
4) Screw the speaker housing to the mounting
bracket.
