General Characteristics

This microphone has aone-inchgold sputtered diaphragmand a fairly wide fixedcardioid pickup pattern.

Largecapsulecondensers arevery sensitive,readily revealingvery subtlesonicdetails.They alsotend to

pickupsoundsoutsidethe patternmorethansomedesigns, whichcan leadto powerful feedbackifyouare

not careful.Westrongly advise experimentation withplacement andisolationrequirements with the gain

initially set low to avoid equipment (and ear) damaging surprises!

IMPORTANT - Thisunit requires phantom power at48volts,+/- 4volts.Each unit has beenthoroughly

checkedbeforeshipping, soif you hear nosound, check that thephantom power on your mixer or separate

power supply is switched on!
