Note:
Depending on the codec used of the Bluetooth device, the LED
indicator will be flashing in different ways (see section 7).
4.2 Dual link (simultaneous connection to 2 devices)
The WDT-5.0 can simultaneously stream audio to two Bluetooth
headsets. Both can play e.g. the same TV sound.
1. Follow the instructions in section 4.1 to pair the first audio device.
2. Tap the pairing button again and pair the second audio device in the
same way. The LED indicator will turn solid green when two audio
devices are connected.
If you get no sound, please check the audio settings of your TV and
make sure you have selected the right audio output.
Notes:
1. The WDT-5.0 stores the pairing information and will attempt to
reconnect with previously paired devices when powered on.
2. Please turn off the WDT-5.0 and turn it on again to reconnect if
two devices cannot play music at the same time. If the problem
still exists, please try to pair the audio devices again.
3. There could be different Bluetooth chipsets with different functions
incorporated into your devices. Thus it is possible that your headset
or speaker does not support dual link.
TM TM
4. To enjoy the advantages of aptX HD and aptX your audio device
must support these codecs. In dual link mode the standard SBC
codec will be used automatically which may result in audio delays.
5. Once the Bluetooth connection with a second device has been
established, the green LED indicator takes priority over the red and
blue LED indicators of other modes.
4.3 TV Connection
In transmitter mode, you can connect the WDT-5.0 with a non-
Bluetooth device like your TV through the 3.5 mm audio cable (AUX) or
Toslink cable (SPDIF TX) and transmit audio to headsets or speakers
via Bluetooth.
