GETTING STARTED
MAIN UNIT INSTALLATION
1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
2. Insert the batteries, matching the polarities.
3. Press RESET after each battery change.
NOTE Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine or fire.

1. Slide open the battery door.
2. Slide channel switch to channel 1.
3. Select EU/UK. (RTGN318D only)
4. Insert the battery, matching the polarities (+ / -).
5. Press RESET after each battery change.
6. Close the battery door.

NOTE If no sensor is found, press and hold and

NOTE After every sensor initialisation, the main unit may
take up to 30 minutes to receive the time from the sensor.
7. Secure the sensor in the desired location using the
wall mount hole or double sided adhesive tape.
For best results:
• Place the sensor within 100 m (328 ft) of the main
unit.
• Place the sensor out of direct sunlight and moisture.
• Position the sensor so that it faces the main unit,
minimizing obstructions such as doors, walls and
furniture.
• Place the sensor in a location with a clear view to the
sky, away from metallic / electronic objects.
• Position the sensor close to the main unit during cold
winter months as below-freezing temperatures may
affect battery performance and signal transmission.
TIP The transmission range may vary depending on
many factors. You may need to experiment with various
locations to get the best results.
CLOCK
CLOCK RECEPTION
This product is designed to synchronize its clock
automatically with a clock signal received from provided
remote sensor.
To enable / disable signal reception:
Press and hold to enable or to disable signal
reception.
NOTE Reception takes 2-10 minutes. If the signal is
weak, it can take up to 24 hours to get a valid signal.
Clock signal reception indicator:
STRONG SIGNAL WEAK / NO SIGNAL
NOTE Clock reception is dependent on the successful
transmission of data from remote sensor. If is
displayed, press RESET on sensor and press and
on the main unit and ensure sensor has been
successfully logged.
MANUALLY SET CLOCK
To set the clock manually, disable the clock signal
reception first.
1. Press and hold MODE.
2. Press / to change the settings.
3. Press MODE to confirm.
The settings order is: time zone, 12/24 hr format, hour,
minute, year, calendar mode (month – day / day – month),
month, day and language.
Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 23 hours from the
received clock signal time.
NOTE If you enter + 1 in the time offset setting, this will
give you your local time plus one hour. If you are in the US
(BAR800A) set the clock to:
0 for Pacific time +1 for Mountain time
+2 for Central time +3 for Eastern time
NOTE The language options are English (E), German
(D), French (F), Italian (I), and Spanish (S).
To select clock display mode:
Press to toggle between clock with seconds, clock MODE
with weekday and calendar.

within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius.

OPERAZIONI PRELIMINARI
INSTALLAZIONE DELL’UNITÀ PRINCIPALE
1. Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batteria.
2. Inserire le batterie, rispettando le polarità indicate.
3. Premere RESET dopo ogni sostituzione di batteria.

premuto e sull’unità principale.
NOTA Dopo ogni inizializzazione del sensore, possono
essere necessari fino a 30 minuti per ricevere l’ora dallo
stesso.
7. Collocare il sensore nella posizione desiderata
mediante il foro per fissaggio a parete o con il nastro
biadesivo.
Per risultati ottimali:
• Posizionare il sensore a una distanza inferiore a 100 m
(328 ft) dall’unità principale.
• Tenere il sensore lontano dalla luce diretta del sole e
umidità.
• Posizionare il sensore di fronte all’unità principale,
riducendo le interferenze quali porte, pareti e mobili.
• Posizionare il sensore in un luogo in cui sia possible
vedere il cielo, lontano da oggetti metallici/elettronici.
• Posizionare il sensore vicino all’unità principale
durante i mesi invernali con temperature sotto lo zero
che potrebbero ridurre le prestazioni della batteria e
inficiare il segnale di trasmissione.
SUGGERIMENTO Il campo di trasmissione può variare
in base a molti fattori. E possibile dover provare diverse
posizioni prima di ottenere i risultati migliori.
OROLOGIO
RICEZIONE DELL’ORA
Questo prodotto è progettato per sincronizzare
automaticamente il proprio orologio con un segnale orario
ricevuto dal sensore remoto in dotazione.
Per attivare/disattivare la ricezione del segnale:
Premere per alcuni secondi per attivare o per
disattivare la ricezione del segnale.
NOTA Per la ricezione sono necessari dai 2 ai 10 minuti.
Se il segnale è debole, possono occorrere fino a 24 ore per
riceverne uno valido.
Indicatore di ricezione del segnale dell’orologio:

NOTA La ricezione dell’ora dipende dalla riuscita della
trasmissione dei dati del sensore remoto. Se viene
visualizzata l’icona , premere sul sensore e RESET
premere e sull’unità principale. Verificare che il
sensore sia stato correttamente registrato.
IMPOSTAZIONE MANUALE DELL’ORA
Per impostare l’ora manualmente, disattivare prima la
ricezione del segnale.
1. Tenere premuto MODE.
2. Premere per modificare le impostazioni. /
3. Premere MODE per confermare.
L’ordine delle impostazioni è: fuso orario, formato ora 12 /
24, ore, minuti, anno, modalità calendario (mese – giorno /
giorno – mese), mese, giorno e lingua.
La differenza di fuso orario imposta l’orologio a + / - 23 ore
dall’ora del segnale ricevuto.
NOTA Se si immette il valore +1 nell’impostazione relativa
alla differenza di fuso orario, verrà visualizzata la propria ora
locale più un’ora. Se ci si trova negli Stati Uniti (solo per il
modello BAR800A) impostare l’orologio come segue:
0 per l’ora del Pacifico +1 per la zona delle montagne
+2 per l’ora Centrale +3 per l’ora Orientale
NOTA Le opzioni della lingua sono inglese (E), tedesco
(D), francese (F), italiano (I) e spagnolo (S).
Selezione della modalità di visualizzazione dell’ora:
Premere per alternare ora con secondi e ora con MODE
giorno della settimana e calendario.

POUR COMMENCER
INSTALLATION DE L’APPAREIL PRINCIPAL
1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
2. Insérez les piles, en respectant les polarités.
3. Appuyez sur RESET après chaque changement de
piles.
REMARQUE N’exposez pas les piles à une chaleur
excessive comme les rayons du soleil et le feu.

INSTALLATION DE LA SONDE SANS FIL
1. Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.
2. Positionnez l’interrupteur de canal sur le canal 1.
3. Sélectionnez EU/UK (modèle RTGN318D uniquement).
4. Insérez la pile, en respectant les polarités (+/-).
5. Appuyez sur RESET après chaque changement de
piles.
6. Fermez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.

REMARQUE Si aucune sonde n’est trouvée, appuyez
et maintenez la touche et de l’appareil principal.
REMARQUE A chaque initialisation de la sonde,
l’appareil principal peut prendre jusqu’à 30 minutes pour
recevoir l’heure depuis la sonde.

7. Sécurisez la sonde à l’emplacement choisi, en utilisant
la fixation murale ou le ruban adhésif double face.
Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats :
• Positionnez la sonde à 100m maximum (328 pieds) de
l’appareil principal.
• Ne placez pas la sonde directement face aux rayons
du soleil ou en contact avec des matières humides.
• Positionnez la sonde pour qu’elle soit face à l’appareil
principal, en minimisant les obstacles tels que porte,
murs et meubles.
• Dirigez la sonde directement vers le ciel, éloignée des
objets métalliques / électroniques.
• Positionnez la sonde à proximité de l’appareil
principal pendant les mois d’hiver puisque le gel
peut endommager le fonctionnement des piles et la
transmission du signal.
ASTUCE La portée de transmission peut varier en
fonction de nombreux facteurs. Il peut être nécessaire
d’essayer plusieurs emplacements pour obtenir les
meilleurs résultats.
HORLOGE
RECEPTION DE L’HORLOGE
Ce produit est conçu pour synchroniser automatiquement
l’horloge avec le signal radio reçu de la sonde sans fil
fournie.
Activer / désactiver la réception du signal :
Maintenez le bouton pour activer, ou le bouton
pour désactiver la réception du signal.
REMARQUE La réception prend 2-10 minutes. Si le
signal est faible, cela peut prendre jusqu’à 24 heures pour
obtenir un signal valable.
Indicateur de réception du signal de l’Horloge :

SIGNAL
REMARQUE La réception de l’horloge dépend de la
bonne transmission des données émises depuis la sonde
sans fil. Si s’affiche, appuyez sur la touche de la RESET
sonde et sur et de l’appareil principal puis assurez-
vous que la sonde extérieure ait bien été enregistrée.
REGLER MANUELLEMENT L’HORLOGE
Pour régler manuellement l’horloge, vous devez, tout
d’abord, désactiver la réception du signal.
1. Appuyez et maintenez la touche MODE.
2. Appuyez sur / pour modifier les réglages.
3. Appuyez sur MODE pour confirmer.
Les réglages s’effectuent dans l’ordre suivant : Fuseau
horaire, format 12/24 heures, heure, minutes, année,
mode calendrier (format mois-jour / jour-mois) mois, jour
et langue.
La fonction de fuseau horaire règle l’horloge à +/- 23
heures de l’heure du signal reçu.
REMARQUE Si vous entrez +1 dans le réglage du
fuseau horaire, vous obtiendrez votre heure locale plus
une heure. Si vous êtes aux Etats-Unis (modèle BAR800A
uniquement) réglez l’horloge sur :
0 pour l’heure Pacifique +1 pour l’heure des Montagnes
+2 pour l’heure Centrale +3 pour l’heure de l’Est.
REMARQUE Les langues disponibles sont l’anglais (E),
l’allemand (D), le français (F), l’italien (I) et l’espagnol (S).
Pour sélectionner le mode d’affichage de l’horloge :
Appuyez sur pour alterner entre l’horloge avec MODE
les secondes et l’horloge avec les jours de la semaine et
calendrier.

ERSTE SCHRITTE
INSTALLATION DER BASISEINHEIT
1. Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.
2. Legen Sie die Batterien ein und achten Sie auf die
Übereinstimmung der Polaritäten.
3. Nach jedem Batteriewechsel auf RESET drücken.
HINWEIS Setzen Sie die Batterien keiner übermäßigen
Hitze aus, wie z.B. durch Sonnenbestrahlung oder Feuer.

INSTALLATION DER FUNKSENDEEINHEIT
1. Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.
2. Verschieben Sie den Kanalschalter auf Kanal 1.
3. Wählen Sie EU/UK aus. (nur RTGN318D)
4. Legen Sie die Batterie ein und achten Sie auf die
Übereinstimmung der Polaritäten (+ / -).
5. Nach jedem Batteriewechsel auf RESET drücken.
6. Schließen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung.
Das Empfangssymbol der Sendeeinheit zeigt den
Status an:

HINWEIS Wenn keine Sendeeinheit gefunden wurde,
halten Sie und auf der Basiseinheit gedrückt.
HINWEIS Nach jeder Initialisierung der Sendeeinheit
kann die Basiseinheit bis zu 30 Minuten benötigen, um
die Uhrzeit von der Sendeeinheit zu empfangen.
7. Befestigen Sie die Sendeeinheit mit der
Wandaufhängung oder dem doppelseitigen Klebeband
an der gewünschten Stelle.
Für optimale Ergebnisse:
• Platzieren Sie die Sendeeinheit innerhalb von 100 m
von der Basiseinheit entfernt.
• Platzieren Sie die Sendeeinheit entfernt von direkter
Sonnenbestrahlung und Feuchtigkeit.
• Positionieren Sie die Sendeeinheit so, dass sie auf
die Basiseinheit gerichtet ist, und vermeiden Sie
Hindernisse, wie Türen, Wände und Möbel.
• Platzieren Sie die Sendeeinheit an einem Standort mit
direkter Sicht zum Himmel, und stellen Sie sie nicht
in die Nähe von metallischen Gegenständen oder
elektronischen Geräten.
• Positionieren Sie die Sendeeinheit während der
kalten Wintermonate in der Nähe der Basiseinheit,
da Temperaturen unter dem Gefrierpunkt die
Batterieleistung und die Signalübertragung
beeinträchtigen können.
TIPP Die Übertragungsreichweite kann von mehreren
Faktoren abhängen. Sie müssen eventuell mehrere
Standorte testen, um optimale Ergebnisse zu erzielen.
FUNKUHR
ZEITSIGNALEMPFANG
Dieses Produkt synchronisiert seine Uhr automatisch
mit einem Zeitsignal, das von der mitgelieferten
Funksendeeinheit empfangen wird.
So aktivieren / deaktivieren Sie den Signalempfang:
Halten Sie gedrückt, um den Signalempfang zu
aktivieren, oder , um ihn zu deaktivieren.
HINWEIS Der Empfang nimmt etwa 2-10 Minuten in
Anspruch. Wenn das Signal schwach ist, kann es bis zu 24
Stunden dauern, bis ein gültiges Signal empfangen wird.

SIGNAL
HINWEIS Der Zeitsignalempfang hängt von der
erfolgreichen Datenübertragung der Funksendeeinheit
ab. Wenn angezeigt wird, drücken Sie auf der RESET
Sendeeinheit und anschließend auf und auf der
Basiseinheit, um sicherzustellen, dass die Sendeeinheit
erfolgreich registriert wurde.
DIE UHR MANUELL EINSTELLEN
Um die Uhr manuell einzustellen, müssen Sie zuerst den
Zeitsignalempfang deaktivieren.
1. Halten Sie MODE gedrückt.
2. Drücken Sie auf , um die Einstellungen zu /
ändern.
3. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung auf MODE.
Die Reihenfolge der Einstellungen lautet: Zeitzone, 12-
/24-Stundenformat, Stunde, Minute, Jahr, Kalendermodus
(Monat – Tag / Tag – Monat), Monat, Tag und Sprache.
Die Zeitzone stellt die Uhr auf bis zu +/- 23 Stunden von
der empfangenen Signalzeit ein.
HINWEIS Wenn Sie + 1 in der Einstellung des
Zeitzonenausgleichs eingeben, ergibt diese Ihre Ortszeit
plus 1 Stunde. Wenn Sie sich in den USA befinden (nur
BAR800A) stellen Sie die Uhr auf:
0 für Pacific Time +1 für Mountain Time
+2 für Central Time +3 für Eastern Time
HINWEIS Die Sprachoptionen sind Englisch (E), Deutsch
(D), Französich (F), Italienisch (I) und Spanisch (S).
So wählen Sie den Anzeigemodus der Uhr aus:
Drücken Sie auf MODE, um zwischen der Uhrzeit mit
Sekunden und der Uhrzeit mit Wochentag und kalender
zu wechseln.
WETTERVORHERSAGE
Dieses Produkt erstellt eine Wettervorhersage der
nächsten 12 bis 24 Stunden innerhalb eines Radius von
30-50 km (19-31 Meilen).

• Setzen Sie das Gerät keiner extremen
Gewalteinwirkung und keinen Stößen aus, und
halten Sie es von übermäßigem Staub, Hitze oder
Feuchtigkeit fern.
• Sie dürfen die Belüftungsöffnungen nicht mit
Gegenständen abdecken, wie z.B. Zeitungen,
Vorhänge, usw.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser. Falls Sie
eine Flüssigkeit über das Gerät verschütten, trocknen
Sie es sofort mit einem weichen, faserfreien Tuch.
• Reinigen Sie das Gerät keinesfalls mit scheuernden
oder ätzenden Mitteln.
• Machen Sie sich nicht an den internen Komponenten
des Geräts zu schaffen, da dies zu einem Verlust der
Garantie führen kann.
• Verwenden Sie nur neue Batterien. Verwenden Sie
keinesfalls neue und alte Batterien gemeinsam.
• Die in dieser Anleitung dargestellten Abbildungen
