BATTERY OPERATION
1. Open battery cover on the rear (1).
2. Insert four 1.5V UM-2 batteries as
indicated on the case.
Alkaline cells are recommended.
3. Replace battery cover.
Note: Check your batteries regularly.
Old or discharged batteries must be
replaced to avoid acid leaking that may
damage your unit. If the unit is not to be
used for a long time, remove the
batteries from their compartment.
AC 230 V OPERATION
To operate the set on main power,
connect the plug end into a 230V AC
50 Hz electric source. The internal
battery circuit is automatically
disconnected.
RADIO OPERATION
1. Turn the Power ON/OFF/Volume
knob (5) until you hear a click.
2. Adjust the volume by tuning the
VOLUME control (5).
3. Extend the telescopic antenna (9)
for FM Band. To optimize MW/LW
reception turn horizontally the radio
until reaching the best reception
position.
4. Select the desired radio Band: LW/
MW or FM (4).
5. Tune to the desired station with the
Tuning knob (7).
6. To switch off the radio turn the
volume knob (5) counterclock-wise
until a click is heard.
HEADPHONES
For private listening this radio is
equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone
socket (6).

BATTERIEN
1. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs auf
der Rückseite entfernen (1).
2. Vier 1.5V Batterien des Typs UM-2
richtig gepolt ins Batteriefach
einlegen. (Wir empfehlen Alkali-
Batterien).
3. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs
wieder schliessen.
Anmerkung: Die Batterien
regelmässig prüfen. Alte oder entlade-
ne Batterien sofort auswechseln, um
eine Beschädigung des Geräts durch
auslaufende Säure zu vermeiden.

PILES
1. Ouvrir le logement des piles sur
l’arrière de l’appareil (1).
2. Introduire quatres piles de type UM-2
dans le logement en veillant à les
bien placer conformément au schéma
indiqué à l'interieur du logement
(nous recommandons des piles
Alcalines).
3. Fermer le logement.
Note: Contrôlez vos piles régulièrement.
Les piles trop vieilles ou déchargées
devront être remplacées afin d'éviter un
endommagement résultant de fuites
d'acide. Si l'appareil ne doit pas être
utilisé pendant une longue période de
temps, enlevez les piles du logement.
OPERATION AC 230 V
Pour opérer l'appareil avec le courant
230V, insérer la câble d'alimentation
dans une prise secteur. La circuit de
batteries interne est exclus.
OPERATIONS GENERALES
ECOUTE DE LA RADIO
1. Tourner le contrôle VOLUME (5)
jusqu'à entendre un "click".
2. Ajuster le contrôle de VOLUME (5)
au niveau désiré.
3. Détendre l'antenne télescopique (9)
pour la réception des ondes FM.
Tourner l'appareil horizontalement
pour une réception optimale des
ondes MW/LW.
4. Sélectionner la bande souhaitée:
FM ou MW/LW (4).
5. Syntoniser la station souhaitée avec
le contrôle de Syntonisation (7).
6. Pour éteindre l'appareil, tourner le
contrôle de VOLUME (5) en sens
anti-horaire jusqu'à entendre un
déclic.
CASQUE
Pour permettre l'écoute privé,
l'appareil est doté d'une entrée pour
casques stéréo de 3.5 mm (6).
ATTENTION ! A pleine puissance
l'écoute prolongée de la radio peut
endommager l'oreille de l'utilisateur.

3. Für den UKW-Empfang ziehen Sie
die Teleskop-Antenne (9) aus.
