BATTERIES
1. Open battery cover on the rear.
2. Insert two 1.5V UM-1 batteries as
indicated on the case.
Alkaline cells are recommended.
3. Replace battery cover.
Note: Check your batteries regularly.
Old or discharged batteries must be
replaced to avoid acid leaking that may
damage your unit. If the unit is not to be
used for a long time, remove the
batteries from their compartment.
EXTERNAL POWER
A AC input socket has been provided
for external power connection. It requires
a AC-230V Power Source.
GENERAL OPERATIONS
RADIO OPERATION
1. Turn the Power ON/OFF/Volume
knob until you hear a click.
2. Adjust the volume by turning the
VOLUME control.
3. Extend the telescopic antenna for
FM Ban. To optimize MW reception turn
horizontally the radio until reaching the
best reception position.
4. Select the desired radio Band: MW or
FM (2).
5. Tune to the desired station with the
Tuning knob (4).
6. To switch off the radio turn the volume
knob counterclock-wise until a click is
heard.
HEADPHONES
For private listening this radio is equipped
with a 3.5 mm headphone socket (7).

BATTERIEN
1. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs auf
der Rückseite abnehmen.
2. Zwai 1.5V Batterien des Typs UM-1
ins Batteriefach richtig gepolt einlegen.
Wir empfehlen Alkalin Batterien.
3. Den Deckel des Batteriefachs
wieder schliessen.
Anmerkung: Die Batterien
regelmässig prüfen. Alte oder
entladene Batterien auswechseln, um
eine Beschädigung des Geräts durch
auslaufende Batterien zu vermeiden.

PILES
1. Ouvrir le logement des piles sur
l’arrière de l’appareil
2. Introduire deux piles de type UM-1
dans le logement en veillant à les bien
placer conformément au schéma
indiqué à l'interieur du logement (nous
recommandons des piles Alcalines).
3. Fermer le logement.
Note: Contrôlez vos piles régulièrement.
Les piles trop vieilles ou déchargées
devront être remplacées afin d'éviter un
endommagement résultant de fuites
d'acide. Si l'appareil ne doit pas être
utilisé pendant une longue période de
temps, enlevez les piles du logement.
OPERATIONS GENERALES
ECOUTE DE LA RADIO
1. Tourner le contrôle VOLUME (5)
jusqu'à entendre un "click".
2. Ajuster le contrôle de VOLUME (5)
au niveau désiré.
3. Détendre l'antenne télescopique pour
la réception des ondes FM.
Tourner l'appareil horizontalement pour
une réception optimale des PO.
4. Sélectionner la bande souhaitée:
FM ou MW (2).
5. Syntoniser la station souhaitée avec
le contrôle de Syntonisation (4).
6. Pour éteindre l'appareil, tourner le
contrôle de volume en sens anti-horaire
jusqu'à entendre un déclic.
CASQUE
Pour permettre l'écoute privé, l'appareil
est doté d'une entrée pour casques
stéréo de 3.5 mm (7).

Der Apparat hat eine GS-Eingangs-
Buchse (AC-230V), für eine externe
Stromversorgung.
BEDIENUNG
RUNDFUNKEMPFANG
1. Schalten Sie das Radio mit dem Ein-/
Aus-/Lautstärke-Kontrolle/Knopf (5)
ein.
2. Stellen Sie die gewünschte
Lautstärke mit dem Lautstärke-Regler
(5) ein.
3. Ziehen Sie die Teleskop-Antenne für
UKW aus. Um die optimale MW-
Empfangsqualität zu erreichen, drehen
Sie das Radio horizontal.
4. Wählen Sie das gewünschte Band:
UKW oder MW mit dem Band-Schalter.
5. Stimmen Sie die gewünschte Station
mit der Abstimm-Kontrolle (4) ab.
6. Um das Radio auszuschalten,
drehen Sie die Ein-/Aus-/Lautstärke-
Kontrolle in Gegenuhrzeigersinn bis Sie
einen "Klick" hören.
KOPFHÖRER
Dieses Gerät ist mit einer 3.5 mm
Kopfhörer-Buchse (7) ausgestattet.
