BEFORE FIRST USE: Remove battery isolator tab (if present). Insert batteries
ensuring +/- terminals are correct way round.
TO SWITCH ON: Place bowl on scale (if using a bowl). Press q/ZERO. Wait until
display shows 0.
TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS: Press UNIT to change between g, oz, ml and fl.oz.
The ml and fl.oz measures (where included) are suitable for all water based liquids,
eg. wine, stock, milk.
TO ‘ADD & WEIGH’ several dierent ingredients in one bowl: Press q/ZERO
between each ingredient.
TO SWITCH OFF MANUALLY: Press q/ZERO for 2-3 seconds. Auto switch o will
occur if display shows 0 for 1 minute or the same weight reading for 3 minutes.
WARNING INDICATORS:
Lo or Low power: Replace batteries
Err or O-Ld or EEEE Weight overload: Remove some weight
---- Negative load: Press q/ZERO to return to 0

water or use chemical/abrasive cleaners.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION : Retirer la languette isolante de la pile (si
présente). Insérer les piles en respectant bien le sens de positionnement des
polarités + et -.
MISE EN MARCHE : Placer le bol sur la balance (si utilisation d’un bol). Appuyer sur
q/ZERO. Attendre que l’écran ache 0.
CONVERSION DES UNITÉS DE POIDS : Appuyer sur UNIT pour changer entre g, oz,
ml et fl.oz. Les mesures en ml et fl.oz (si incluses) sont adaptées à tous les liquides
à base d’eau (vin, bouillon, lait, etc.).
POUR AJOUTER et PESER plusieurs ingrédients diérents dans un bol :
Appuyer sur q/ZERO entre chaque ingrédient.
ARRÊT MANUEL : Appuyer sur q/ZERO pendant 2 à 3 secondes. Arrêt automatique
si l’écran ache 0 ou que le même pesage apparaît pendant environ 3 minutes.

Err ou O-Ld ou EEEE En surcharge : Réduire le poids

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN : Nettoyer la balance uniquement à l’aide d’un chion
humide. Ne pas plonger dans l’eau ni utiliser de nettoyants chimiques/abrasifs.

convenablement au rebut. Ne pas déformer les piles. Information à conserver avec la
notice. Ne pas mélanger des piles anciennes et neuves ou des piles de diérents
types ou marques. Enlever les piles de l’équipement s’il ne doit pas être utilisé
pendant une période de temps prolongée, sauf si l’on prévoit des cas d’urgence. Ne
pas chauer les piles. Ne pas forcer la décharge des piles.
