Streamlight warrants this product to be free of
defects for a lifetime of use except for batteries
and bulbs, abuse and normal wear. We will repair,
replace or refund the purchase price of this product
should we determine it to be defective. This limited
lifetime warranty also excludes rechargeable
batteries, chargers, switches and electronics which
have a 2 year warranty with proof of purchase.

Congratulations on the purchase of the Nightfighter

®
Series flashlight, a compact and convenient little
flashlight that is a powerhouse of performance. Proper
care and use of this product will provide years of
dependable service.
BATTERY INSTALLATION/REMOVAL
1. Unscrew the tail cap and remove depleted batteries.
2. Insert batteries into barrel with the positive ends
pointing toward the flashlight head.
3. Screw tail cap onto flashlight barrel and tighten.
WARNING: FIRE, EXPLOSION,
BURN HAZARD – USE ONLY
RECOMMENDED LITHIUM BATTERIES
Inferior quality lithium batteries can cause fire, explosion,
burns. We recommend the use of ONLY Streamlight or
Panasonic, Sanyo, Energizer or Duracell batteries in our
products. Use of other batteries or mixing brands and
old and new batteries may risk leakage, fire, explosion
and serious personal injury. To further avoid this risk for
any brand lithium battery, do not recharge, misuse, short
circuit, disassemble, improperly store or discard, expose
to high temperatures.
WARNING: The Nightfighter
®
and TL-2
®
(Xenon) utilize
a high wattage Xenon bulb that can get very hot. Never
place the flashlight face-down against a flat surface
or against any flammable object. To transport or store,
turn off the flashlight and unscrew the tail cap 1/8” to
minimize the possibility of accidental activation.

• Press the tail switch for momentary activation or twist
the tailcap for steady “on”.

X (Multi-function LED)
• High: From off, press and hold for momentary
activation; twist tailcap to lock on.
• Strobe: From off, fast double press and hold for
momentary activation; twist tailcap to lock on.
WARNING - Use of light in “strobe” mode may cause
seizure in persons with photosensitive epilepsy.
• Low: From off, fast triple press and hold for
momentary activation; twist tailcap lock on.

and click the switch to lock on.

The Nightfighter

(Xenon) have an adjustable
focus. Rotate the head to adjust the focus from a long
range, pinpoint beam to a wider, softer flood effect
for close-up use. The Nightfighter
®

X models use LEDs “fixed” at
optimum focus and are not adjustable.
BULB REPLACEMENT
LED models do not require bulb replacement. Do not
attempt to change the LED in the Nightfighter
®
LED,
Nightfighter
®
X, TL-2
®
LED or TL-2
®
X.
The Xenon bi-pin bulb is designed to last through three (3)
to five (5) sets of batteries in continuous use. Intermittent
use may produce less bulb life (due to repeated start up
shock and higher voltage spikes).
Unscrew the flashlight head from the barrel and remove
the bulb holder assembly. Always wear safety glasses
and gloves. Never touch a hot bulb; allow it to cool before
handling. Firmly grasp the burned out bulb and pull it
from the holder assembly. Grasp the replacement bulb
and direct the pins straight into the holes in the holder
assembly until the bulb is firmly seated.
MAINTENANCE
Keep the O-ring area on the barrel lubricated.

, une petite lampe compacte et pratique qui
déborde de performances. Un entretien et une utilisation corrects
assureront des années de service fiable.
MISE EN PLACE/ENLÈVEMENT DES PILES
1. Dévisser le capuchon arrière et sortir les piles usagées.
2. Enfiler les piles neuves dans le fût, avec la borne positive
pointée vers la tête de la lampe torche.
3. Visser le capuchon arrière sur le fût de la lampe et serrer.
AVERTISSEMENT : DANGER DE FEU,

UNIQUEMENT LES PILES AU LITHIUM
RECOMMANDÉES
Les piles au lithium de qualité inférieure peuvent provoquer un
incendie, une explosion et des brûlures. Nous recommandons
d’utiliser UNIQUEMENT des piles Streamlight, Panasonic, Sanyo,
Energizer ou Duracell dans nos produits. L’utilisation d’autres
piles ou l’association de piles de marques différentes ou neuves
et usagées présentent un risque de fuite, d’incendie, d’explosion
et de blessures corporelles graves. En outre, pour écarter
ce risque avec des piles au lithium de toute marque, ne pas
recharger, utiliser de façon abusive, court-circuiter, démonter,
entreposer ou éliminer de façon inappropriée ni exposer à des
températures élevées.

utilisent une ampoule au xénon de forte puissance qui peut
devenir très chaude. Ne jamais poser la lampe torche face vers
le bas sur une surface plane ou contre un quelconque objet
inflammable. Pour la transporter ou la ranger, éteindre la lampe
torche et dévisser le capuchon arrière de 3 mm pour minimiser le
risque d’activation accidentelle.

rapidement et maintenir pour activer temporairement ; tourner
le capuchon pour l’encliqueter en position de marche.

» peut provoquer une crise chez les personnes
souffrant d’épilepsie photosensible.
• Bas : Depuis la position d’arrêt, appuyer trois fois rapidement

réglable. Faire tourner la tête pour ajuster la focalisation depuis
un faisceau étroit de longue portée jusqu’à un éclairage plus
large et diffus pour une utilisation rapprochée. Les modèles

comportent des ampoules DEL « fixées » sur une focalisation
optimale et ne sont pas réglables.
REMPLACEMENT DE L’AMPOULE
Il n’est pas nécessaire de remplacer l’ampoule sur les modèles à
DEL. Ne pas tenter de changer la DEL de la lampe Nightfighter
®
LED, Nightfighter
®
X, TL-2
®
LED ou TL-2
®
X.
L’ampoule xénon à deux broches est conçue pour durer
l’équivalent de trois (3) à cinq (5) jeux de piles en utilisation
continue. Une utilisation intermittente peut réduire la durabilité
de l’ampoule (en raison des chocs d’allumage répétés et des
pointes de tension élevées).
Dévisser la tête de la lampe torche du fût et sortir le porte-
ampoule. Toujours porter des lunettes de sécurité et des gants.
Ne jamais toucher une ampoule chaude ; la laisser refroidir avant
de la manipuler. Saisir fermement l’ampoule usagée et l’extraire
du porte-ampoule. Saisir l’ampoule de rechange et enfoncer les
broches tout droit dans les orifices du porte-ampoule fermement
jusqu’au fond.
ENTRETIEN
Maintenir la surface de joint torique sur le fût bien lubrifiée.
