WATER RESISTANCE
If your watch is water-resistant, meter marking or (O) is indicated.

1. Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and
case remain intact.
2. Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

4. Shock-resistance will be indicated on watch face or caseback.
Watches are designed to pass ISO test for shock-resistance.
However, care should be taken to avoid damaging crystal/lens.
BATTERY
Timex strongly recommends that a retailer or jeweler replace
battery. Battery type is on watch back. If present, push/short
internal reset switch after replacing battery. Battery life estimates
are based on certain assumptions regarding usage; battery life may
vary depending on actual usage.

HEURE
Pour ajuster l’heure, la date et les options :
1) Tenir enfoncé , lorsque l’heure et la date sont affichées.SET
2) Le fuseau horaire (1, 2, ou 3) clignote. Appuyer ou pour+ –
sélectionner le fuseau horaire à régler.
3) Appuyer sur . L’heure clignote. Appuyer sur ou pourNEXT + –
changer l’heure (y compris AM (matin) /PM (après-midi)) ; tenir le
bouton enfoncé pour faire défiler les valeurs.
4) Appuyer sur . Les minutes clignotent. Appuyer sur ou NEXT + –
pour changer les minutes.
5) Appuyer sur . Les secondes clignotent. Appuyer sur ou NEXT + –
pour remettre les secondes à zéro.
6) Appuyer sur . Le mois clignote. Appuyer sur ou pourNEXT + –
changer le mois.
7) Appuyer sur . Le jour clignote. Appuyer sur ou pourNEXT + –
changer le jour.
8) Appuyer sur . L’année clignote. Appuyer sur ou pourNEXT + –
changer l’année.
9) Appuyer sur le bouton pour sélectionner une option.NEXT
Appuyer sur ou pour changer la valeur puis appuyer sur+ –
NEXTpour passer à l’option suivante. Les options disponibles
sont format d’affichage sur 12 ou 24 heures, format de date
MOIS-JOUR ou JOUR-MOIS, alerte sonore ou vibration, carillon
horaire, bip sonore des boutons, série de modes personnalisable
(sélectionner « HIDE » pour les modes inusités – ils sont alors
supprimés de la séquence des modes). Appuyer sur àDONE
n’importe quelle étape pour quitter et enregistrer les réglages.
Si vous cachez un mode, il est possible de le réactiver plus tard en
suivant les étapes décrites ci-dessus.
Appuyer sur une fois et tenir enfoncé pour afficher START·SPLIT
le 2e fuseau horaire. Appuyer sur deux fois et tenir START·SPLIT
enfoncé pour afficher le 3e fuseau horaire. Maintenir enfoncé le
bouton pendant 4 secondes pour passer au fuseau horaire affiché.
Le bi-mode offre un choix de type d’alerte pour les alarmes et
compte à rebours : alerte sonore, vibration silencieuse ou une
combinaison de vibration suivie d’une alerte sonore. Pour le
réglage, voir la rubrique 9.
CHRONOGRAPHE
Ce mode correspond à une fonction chronographe. Appuyer sur
MODE pour passer au mode chronographe.
Pour démarrer, appuyer sur . Le chronographe compte START·SPLIT
par centièmes de seconde jusqu’à une heure, ensuite par secondes
jusqu’à 100 heures. L’indicateur Chrono clignote pour indiquer que
le chronographe est en marche.
Pour arrêter, appuyer sur . L’indicateur Chrono STOP·RESET
s’affiche en continu pour indiquer que le chronographe est arrêté.
Pour redémarrer, appuyer sur , ou pour remettre à START·SPLIT
zéro le chronographe, appuyer et tenir enfoncé STOP·RESET.
Lorsque le chronographe est en marche, il continue à fonctionner
si on quitte le mode. L’indicateur w chronographe s’affiche dans le
mode HEURE.
Pendant que le chronographe est en marche, appuyer sur
START·SPLIT pour afficher un temps intermédiaire. Les temps
au tour/intermédiaires seront affichés avec le numéro du tour.

SPLIT 2 = 15.01
LAP 3 = 7.08
SPLIT 3 = 22.09

Pour régler le format d’affichage, appuyer sur . Appuyer ensuite SET
sur + or – pour sélectionner le format désiré. Appuyer sur DONE
pour quitter.
REMARQUE :
• Quand on prend un temps intermédiaire, les temps affichés
sont figés pendant 10 secondes. Appuyer sur pour faireMODE
disparaître l’affichage et faire apparaître immédiatement le
chronographe en marche.
MINUTERIE
Le mode minuterie possède un compte à rebours avec alerte.
Appuyer sur plusieurs fois jusqu’à afficher TIMER. MODE
Pour régler le compte à rebours :
1) Appuyer sur . Les heures clignotent. Appuyer sur ou SET + –
pour changer les heures, tenir le bouton enfoncé pour faire
défiler les valeurs.
2) Appuyer sur . Les minutes clignotent. Appuyer sur ou NEXT + –
pour changer les minutes.
3) Appuyer sur . Les secondes clignotent. Appuyer sur ou NEXT + –
pour changer les secondes.
4) Appuyer sur . L’action à la fin du compte à rebours clignote.NEXT
Appuyer sur ou pour sélectionner STOP (ARRÊT) ou REPEAT+ –
(RAPPEL).
5) Appuyer sur à n’importe quelle étape quand le réglageDONE
est terminé.
Pour démarrer la minuterie, appuyer sur La minuterie START·SPLIT.

Minuterie clignote pour indiquer que la minuterie est en marche.
Pour arrêter le compte à rebours, appuyer sur STOP·RESET.
L’indicateur Minuterie s’affiche en continu pour indiquer que la
Minuterie est arrêtée.
Pour redémarrer le compte à rebours, appuyer sur START·SPLIT,
ou pour remettre à zéro le compte à rebours, appuyer sur
STOP·RESET.
La montre émet un bip et la veilleuse clignote quand le compte
à rebours se termine (la minuterie atteint zéro). Appuyer sur
n’importe quel bouton pour l’arrêter. Si REPEAT AT END (répéter
à la fin) est sélectionné, la minuterie reprend le compte à rebours
indéfiniment.
La minuterie reste en marche lorsqu’on quitte le mode. L’indicateur
Minuterie s’affiche en continu en mode Heure.
HYDRATATION
Le mode Hydratation comporte une minuterie avec alerte pour
rappeler quand boire durant une séance d’exercice. Appuyer sur
MODE plusieurs fois jusqu’à afficher HYDRA.
Pour régler le délai d’hydratation :
1) Appuyer sur SET. Les minutes clignotent. Appuyer sur + – ou
pour changer les minutes, tenir le bouton enfoncé pour faire
défiler les valeurs.
2) Appuyer sur NEXT. Les secondes clignotent. Appuyer sur + ou
– pour changer les secondes, tenir le bouton enfoncé pour faire
défiler les valeurs.
3) Appuyer sur DONE à n’importe quelle étape, quand le réglage
est terminé.
Pour démarrer la minuterie d’hydratation, appuyer sur
START·SPLIT. La minuterie compte les secondes à rebours depuis
la durée initiale. L’indicateur Hydratation clignote pour indiquer que

n’importe quel bouton pour couper l’alarme.

Press MODE repeatedly to step through modes: Chrono, Timer,
Hydration, Alarm 1, Alarm 2, and Alarm 3. Press to exit MODE
current mode and return to Time mode.

TIME
To set time, date, and options:
1) With time and date showing, press and hold SET.
2) Current time zone (1, 2, or 3) flashes. Press or to select time+ –
zone to set, if desired.
3) Press NEXT. Hour flashes. Press or to change hour (including+ –
AM/PM); hold button to scan values
4) Press NEXT. Minutes flash. Press or to change minutes+ –
5) Press NEXT. Seconds flash. Press or to set seconds to zero.+ –
6) Press NEXT. Month flashes. Press or to change month.+ –
7) Press NEXT. Day flashes. Press or to change day.+ –
8) Press NEXT. Year flashes. Press or to change year.+ –
9) Press NEXT to set options. Press or to change value and+ –
then press to go to next option. Available options are 12-NEXT
or 24-hour time format, Month-Day or Day.Month date format,
tone or vibration alert, hourly chime, beep for button presses,
customizable mode set (Select “HIDE” for unwanted modes —
they are removed from mode sequence). Press at anyDONE
step to exit and save settings.
If you hide a mode, you can turn it back on later using procedure
above.
Press START·SPLIT once and hold to see 2nd time zone. Press
START·SPLIT twice and hold to see third time zone. Continue to
hold button for 4 seconds to switch to displayed time zone.
Dual mode offers choice of alert type for alarms and countdown
time: audible tone, silent vibration or combination of vibration
followed by tone. To set, refer to point 9.
CHRONOGRAPH
This mode provides a chronograph (stopwatch) function. Press
MODE to go to Chrono mode.
To start, press . Chrono counts up by hundredths of a START·SPLIT
second up to one hour, then by seconds up to 100 hours. Chrono
indicator flashes to indicate chrono is running.
To stop, press . Chrono indicator is solid to indicate STOP·RESET
chrono is stopped.
To resume, press , or to reset (clear) chrono, press and START·SPLIT
hold .STOP·RESET
When chrono is already running, chrono continues to run if you exit
mode. Stopwatch indicator w appears in TIME mode.
While chrono is running, press to take a split. Lap and START·SPLIT
split times will be displayed with lap number.

To set countdown time:
1) Press SET. Hours flash. Press or to change hours; hold button+ –
to scan values.
2) Press NEXT. Minutes flash. Press or to change minutes.+ –
3) Press NEXT. Seconds flash. Press or to change seconds.+ –
4) Press NEXT. Action at end of countdown flashes. Press or + –
to select STOP or REPEAT.
5) Press DONE at any step when done setting.
To start timer, press Timer counts down every START·SPLIT.

HYDRATION
Hydration mode provides a countdown timer with alert to remind
you to drink during a workout. Press repeatedly until MODE
HYDRA appears.
To set hydration time:
1) Press SET. Minutes flash. Press or to change minutes; hold+ –
button to scan values.
2) Press NEXT. Seconds flash. Press or to change seconds; hold+ –
button to scan values.
3) Press DONE at any step, when done setting.
To start hydration timer, press . Timer counts down START·SPLIT
every second from countdown time. Hydration indicator will flash
to indicate timer is running.
To pause countdown, press . Hydration indicator will STOP·RESET
be solid.
To resume countdown, press , or to reset countdown, START·SPLIT
press .STOP·RESET
Watch beeps and night-light flashes when countdown ends (timer
reaches zero). Press any button to stop alert.
Hydration timer continues to run, if you exit mode. Hydration
indicator will be solid in Time mode.
ALARM
The watch has three alarms. Press repeatedly until ALM 1, MODE
ALM 2, or ALM 3 appears.
To set alarm:
1) Press SET. Hour flashes. Press or to change hour;+ –
hold button to scan values.
2) Press NEXT. Minutes flash. Press or to change minutes.+ –
3) Press NEXT. AM/PM flashes if in 12-hour time format.
Press + or – to change.
4) Press NEXT. Alarm day setting flashes. Press or to select+ –
DAILY, WKDAYS, or WKENDS.
5) Press DONE at any step when done setting.
To turn alarm on/off, press START·SPLIT.
If Alarm is set, Alarm indicator is solid in Time mode.
When alarm sounds, night-light flashes. Press any button to silence.
If no button is pressed, alarm will sound for 20 seconds and repeat
once five minutes later.
Each of the three alarms has a different alert melody.
INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT WITH NIGHT MODE® FEATURE
Press INDIGLO® button to illuminate watch display for 2 - 3
seconds (5 - 6 seconds while setting). Electroluminescent
technology used in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates entire
watch face at night and in low light conditions. Any button pressed
while INDIGLO® night-light is on keeps it on.
Press and hold INDIGLO® button for 4 seconds to activate
NIGHT-MODE® feature. Moon icon will appear in Time mode. P
Feature causes any button press to activate INDIGLO® night-light
for 3 seconds. NIGHT-MODE® feature may be deactivated by
pressing and holding INDIGLO® button again for 4 seconds, or it
automatically deactivates after 8 hours.
ALARME
La montre possède 3 alarmes. Appuyer sur plusieurs fois MODE

(lundi à vendredi), ou WKENDS (samedi et dimanche).
5) Appuyer sur à n’importe quelle étape, quand le réglageDONE
est terminé.
Pour activer ou désactiver l’alarme, appuyer sur START·SPLIT.
Si l’alarme a été réglée, l’indicateur Alarme s’affiche est continu en
mode Heure.
Lorsque l’alarme sonne, la veilleuse clignote. Appuyer sur n’importe
quel bouton pour l’arrêter. Si on n’appuie sur aucun bouton,
l’alarme sonne pendant 20 secondes et émet une alerte de rappel
au bout de cinq minutes.
Chacune des trois alarmes possède une mélodie d’alerte différente.
VEILLEUSE INDIGLO® À FONCTION NIGHT-MODE®
Appuyer sur INDIGLO® pour illuminer le cadran de la montre
pendant 2 à 3 secondes (5 à 6 secondes au moment du réglage).
La technologie électroluminescente utilisée dans la veilleuse
INDIGLO® permet d’illuminer le cadran de la montre la nuit et dans
des conditions de faible éclairage. Tout bouton enfoncé reste activé
lorsque la veilleuse INDIGLO® est activée.
Tenir INDIGLO® enfoncé pendant 4 secondes pour activer la
fonction NIGHT-MODE®. L’icone d’une lune s’affiche dans le P
mode Heure. Dans cette fonction, si on appuie sur n’importe
quel bouton, la veilleuse INDIGLO® est activée pendant trois
secondes. La fonction NIGHT-MODE® peut être désactivée en
tenant INDIGLO
® enfoncé pendant 4 secondes, ou elle se désactive
automatiquement après 8 heures.
ÉTANCHÉITÉ
Si la montre est étanche, la profondeur maximale ou le symbole
(O) est indiqué.

1. La montre est étanche aussi longtemps que le verre, les boutons
et le boîtier sont intacts.
2. La montre n’est pas conçue pour la plongée. Ne pas l’utiliser

3. Rincer à l’eau douce après tout contact avec l’eau de mer.
4. La résistance aux chocs est indiquée sur le cadran de la
montre ou au dos du boîtier. Les montres sont conçues pour se
conformer à l’essai de choc ISO. Toutefois, prendre garde à éviter
d’endommager le verre/cristal.
PILE
Timex recommande fortement de faire changer la pile par un
détaillant ou un bijoutier. Le type de pile est indiqué au dos de
la montre. S’il est présent, appuyer sur le bouton « internal reset »
(remise à zéro interne) après avoir remplacé la pile. L’estimation de
la durée de vie de la pile est basée sur certaines hypothèses quant à
l’usage ; la durée réelle peut varier selon l’utilisation de la montre.

® est garantie contre les défauts de fabrication par Timex
Group USA, Inc. pour une période d’UN AN, à compter de la date d’achat.
Timex ainsi que ses filiales du monde entier honoreront cette Garantie
Internationale.
Timex se réserve le droit de réparer votre montre en y installant des
composants neufs ou révisés, ou bien de la remplacer avec un modèle
identique ou similaire. IMPORTANT — VEUILLEZ NOTER QUE CETTE
GARANTIE NE COUVRE PAS LES DÉFAUTS OU DOMMAGES DE VOTRE
MONTRE :
1) après l’expiration de la période de garantie ;
2) si la montre n’a pas été achetée initialement chez un revendeur Timex
agréé ;
3) si la réparation n’a pas été effectuée par Timex ;
4) suite à un accident, une falsification ou un emploi abusif ; et
5) s’il s’agit du verre ou cristal, du bracelet ou brassard, du boîtier, des
accessoires ou de la pile. Le remplacement de ces pièces peut vous
être facturé par Timex.
CETTE GARANTIE AINSI QUE LES RECOURS PRÉVUS DANS LES PRÉSENTES
SONT EXCLUSIFS ET REMPLACENT TOUTE AUTRE GARANTIE EXPRESSE OU
IMPLICITE, Y COMPRIS TOUTE GARANTIE IMPLICITE DE QUALITÉ MARCHANDE
ET D’ADAPTATION À UN USAGE PARTICULIER. TIMEX N’EST RESPONSABLE
D’AUCUN DOMMAGE PARTICULIER, ACCESSOIRE OU INDIRECT. Certains
pays ou États n’autorisent pas les limitations de garanties implicites et
n’autorisent pas les exclusions ou limitations pour des dommages, auquel
cas lesdites limitations pourraient ne pas vous concerner. Les modalités de la
présente garantie vous donnent des droits légaux particuliers et vous pouvez
également vous prévaloir d’autres droits qui varient d’un pays ou d’un État
à un autre.
Pour obtenir le service garanti, retourner la montre à Timex, à une de ses
filiales ou au détaillant Timex où la montre a été achetée. Inclure un coupon
de réparation original dûment rempli ou, aux É.-U. et au Canada, le coupon
original ou une déclaration écrite comprenant votre nom, adresse, numéro de
téléphone ainsi que la date et le lieu d’achat. Merci de joindre à votre montre
un chèque ou un mandat de 8 $ américains pour couvrir les frais d’expédition
(il ne s’agit pas de frais de réparations) si vous habitez aux États-Unis, de
12 $ canadiens si vous habitez au Canada, ou de 3,50 £ si vous habitez
dans le Royaume-Uni. Pour les autres pays, Timex vous facturera les frais
d’expédition. N’INCLUEZ JAMAIS DANS VOTRE ENVOI UN BRACELET SPÉCIAL
