CONNECTING THE UNIT
Insertthewiredplugcorrectlyintoapoweroutlet.Theclockdisplaywillshow
“00:00”andyouneedtosetthecorrecttime.Itwillalsoreturntoshow
“00:00”iftherehasbeenapoweroutandnoback-upbatteryistted.
TO SET THE TIME
SettheunittoStandbymode. canonlysetthetimewhenunitisinYou
Standbymode.
1. PressandholdtheTimeSetButtonforabout2seconds.Thenthe
currenttimewillbeashing.Releasethebutton.
2. PresstheHourButtononceandrepeatlytoadjustthehourdigit.
3. PresstheMinuteButtononceandrepeatlytoadjusttheminutedigit.
Note:PressandholdtheHour/MinuteButtonwillchangethedigitata
fastspeed.
4. PressonceagaintheTimeSetButtonwhenitreachestherighttime.
Thenthecurrenttimewillstopashing.
RADIO OPERATION
1.PresstheOn/StandbyButtontosettheunittoRadiomode.
2.SelecttheAMorFMbandbypressingtheAM/FMButton.ThentheAMorFM
frequencywillshowontheLEDdisplay.
3.TuneastationbypressingtheTuningUp/DownButton.
PressingeitherTuningUp/DownButtonformorethan1secondtoactivatethe
automatictuningmode.Theautomatictunerwillscanupordownandlockontothe
nextstation.Iftheautomatictuningdoesnotpreciselytuneintoaradiostation,press
theTuningUp/DownButtontoadjustthetuning.
4.AdjustthevolumebypressingVolumeUp/DownButton.
5. turn theradio,presstheOn/StandbyButtontosettheunittoStandbymode.To off
6.Aftertunedintoaradiostation,theunitwillreturntoshowthecurrenttimeinsteadof
theradiofrequencyafterafewseconds.
7.Ifyouwanttochecktheradiofrequency,presseitheroncetheTuningUporTuning
Downbuttonthentheunitwillshowtheradiofrequencyforafewseconds.
STORES PRESET STATIONS
Upto10stations(10AMand10FM)canbestoredinmemory:
1.UnderRADIOmode,selectthewavebandbypressingtheAM/FMButton.
2.Tunetoadesiredstationasdescribedinprevioussection.
3.PressandholdthePreset/MemoryUpButtonforabout2secondsthenthePreset
StationNumberwillash.Releasethebutton.
4.PressonceormoretimestheVolumeUp/DownButtontoselectyourdesiredPreset
StationNumberfromP1toP10.
5.PressoncethePreset/MemoryUpButtonthenthePresetStationNumberwillstop
ashing.
NowthestationisstoredinyourdesiredPresetStationNumber.
Toreplaceastationstoredinthememory,repeatallthestagesdescribedabove.The
newstationwillreplacethepreviouslystoredone.
ToreceivePresetStations:
1.UnderRADIOmode,selectthewavebandbypressingtheAM/FMButton.
2.PressonceormoretimesthePreset/MemoryUpButtontoselectthedesiredPreset
StationNumber.
TO SET THE ALARM TIME AND THE ALARM MODE
SettheunittoStandbymode. canonlysetthealarmtimewhenunitisinStandbyYou
mode.
1.PressandholdthetheAlarm1(or2)Buttonfor2secondsThenthealarmtimewillbe
ashing.Releasethebutton.
2.PresstheHourButtononceandrepeatlytoadjustthehourdigit.
3.PresstheMinuteButtononceandrepeatlytoadjusttheminutedigit.
Note:PressandholdtheHour/MinuteButtonwillchangethedigit atafastspeed.
4.PressonceagaintheAlarmButtonwhenitreachestherighttime.Thenthealarmtime
willstopashing.Thealarmtimeisset.
5.PressonceormoretimestheAlarmbuttontoselectwhichtypeofalarmyoulikeas
below:-
a)Alarm- Indicatorlighton:Buzzerselectedasalarmtype.
b)Alarm- Indicatorlighton:Radioselectedasalarmtype.
c)Alarm- & Indicatorsbothlight :Noalarmselected,meaningthattheoff
unitwillnotalarmwhenitreachestheAlarmsettime.
USE THE ALARM
1.SettheAlarmtimeandselectalarmtypeasdescribedinprevioussection.Makesure
theAlarmindicatorison.
2.Whenitreachthealarmtime,youcanheartheradioorbuzzersounddependingon
whichalarmtypeyouhaveselectedbefore.
3.PressoncetheAlarm Buttontoturn thealarmsoundthentheradioorbuzzerOff off
soundwillbeoff.
Note:IfyouselectAMorFMRadioasalarmtype,makesureyouhaveturnedadesired
stationandasuitablevolumelevelbeforeusingthisalarmtype.
SNOOZE OPERATION
Toobtainapproximativelyfurther9minutessleep,presstheSnoozeButtonaftertheradio
orthebuzzerswitchonatthepresetwake-uptime.TheAlarmIndicatorwillbeashing.
Thiswillsilencetheradioorthebuzzerfor9minutes. canrepeatthisoperationforupYou
toabout1hour.
GOING TO SLEEP WITH THE SOUND OF THE RADIO
1.PressoncetheSleepButtontoactivatetheSleepfunction.TheSleepIndicatorwillon.
2.PressonceandrepeatlytheSleepButtontoselectthesleepingtime(minutes)as
120-90-60-45-30-15-OFF(OFFmeaningthat Sleepfunctioniscancelled).
Aftersettingthesleepingtime,theradiowillonand andreturntostandbymodewhenoff
itreachedthesleepsettime.
Ifyouwanttocancelthesleepfunciton,simplypressoncetheOn/StandbyButtonthen
thesleepfunctionwillbedisable.TheSleepIndicatorwill andtheunitwillreturntooff
Standbymode.
GOING TO SLEEP AND WAKENING TO THE SOUND OF THE UNIT
1.Repeatstepsdescribedin SETTHEALARMTIMEANDTHEALARMMODE”“TO
and“USETHEALARM”.
2.PresstheSleepButtonandsettheperiodoftimeyouwanttolistentotheradio
beforeitswitches automatically.off
3.Theradioisnowprogrammedtoturnitself afteryougotosleepandthealarmwilloff
onautomaticallyatthepresetwake-uptime.
DIMMER FUNCTION
Toadjustthebrightnessofthedisplay,pressoncetheDIMMERBUTTONtotogglethe
HIGHorLOWbrightness.
BATTERY BACK-UP
Thisclockradiohasaback-uppowersystemtoensurecontinuousoperationofthe
clockintheeventofapowerfailure.TheswitchfromACtobatterypowerisautomatic.
However,underbatterypower,theclockdisplaywillnotilluminateeventhoughtheclock
