Introduction
WELCOME
Thank you for choosing ADDERView Matrix, which is perfect for organizations where
ease of use and low maintenance are paramount. Typically used in an unmanaged
conguration without a KVM management switch, these systems are designed for quick
installation, reliable operation and managed with minimal technical knowledge required.
ADDERView Matrix is the perfect solution for any organization looking for a simple and
powerful IP KVM matrix.
Flexible and Scalable
Each ADDERView Matrix USR is the master controller of its own matrix and can have
up to 16 sources programmed into its target list. A Computer Access Module (CAM) can
connect to multiple user stations.

Linking
ADDERView Matrix units can be linked in two main ways: Direct or Matrix.
Direct linking
Where CAMs and USRs are directly linked to each other, very little conguration action
is required, provided that they both have their factory default settings in place* - just link
them together (see also page 13):
Matrix linking
Multiple CAMs and USRs can be connected via a suitable 1GbE network switch to allow
cross connections across a matrix (see page 13):

* If the standard settings have been changed in a previous installation, you merely need to
perform a manual factory reset on each unit: CAM see page 18; USR see page 19.
It is also possible to link two CAMs directly to a single USR (see page 13). Note: an
additional SFP network module needs to be installed within the USR:
