Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Zylinderschalter signalisiert die Position des Kolbens in einem
Zylinder. Er erfaßt einen Ringmagneten im Zylinderkolben, wenn er die
Position des Schalters passiert und meldet dies durch ein Schaltsignal.
• Überfahrgeschwindigkeit bis 5m/s.
• Einsetzbar an allen handelsüblichen Zylindern aus nicht
magnetisierbarem Material.
Montage
Befestigen Sie das Gerät auf dem Zylinder an der Stelle, wo Sie die
Kolbenstellung abfragen wollen. Sichern Sie es ausreichend gegen
Loslösen.
Die aktive Fläche befindet sich gegenüber der LED oder ist mit einem
Kreuz ( )gekennzeichnet.
Elektrischer Anschluß
Schalten Sie die Anlage spannungsfrei. Schließen Sie das Gerät
nach den Angaben auf dem Typenschild an. Adernfarben bei
Kabelgeräten: BN = braun, BU = blau, BK = schwarz, WH = weiß.
Betrieb
Prüfen Sie, ob das Gerät sicher funktioniert.
Die LED leuchtet bei durchgeschaltetem Ausgang.

Function and features
The cylinder switch signals the position of the piston in a cylinder. It
detects a ring magnet in the piston of the cylinder when it passes the
switch and signals this by means of an output signal.
• Travel speed up to 5m/s.
• Can be used on all commercial cylinders made of non-
magnetizable material.
Installation
Fix the unit on the cylinder in the place where you want to detect the
position of the piston. Secure it sufficiently so that it cannot work
loose.
The sensing face is opposite the LED or it is clearly marked with a .
Electrical connection
Disconnect power before connecting the proximity switch.
Connection strictly to the indications on the type label.
Core colours for units with cable connection: BN = brown, BU =
blue, BK = black, WH = white.
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the switch.
The LED is lit when the output is switched.
