Things to consider:
• Other wireless equipment using thesame frequency
can reduce thetransmissionrange.
• Therange of all wireless equipment depends on
thetype of obstacles located between thetransmitter
and thereceiver (e.g. aconcrete wall will interfere with
thesignal more than aplasterboard wall).
If you experience problems, try thefollowing:
• Turn off any other existing wireless equipment to
check whether this is thecause of theproblem.
• Reposition thewireless equipment, shorten
thedistance between thetransmitter and
thereceiveror reduce thenumber of obstacles
(walls,furniture,etc.) betweenthem.
Safety
• Never subject thereceiver switch to high
temperatures, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity
or moisture.
• Never attempt to dismantle thereceiver as it contains
no user-serviceableparts.
Product description
• This remote switch is intended to be used with
Zipabox Duo and other Z-wave-system products,
regardless of manufacturer.
• Plug-in-type. Dimsand turns plugged in devices on/
off,e.g.lamps.
• Supports 2-way communications which allows
thereceiver to report back on its status.
• Measures theenergy consumption of theconnected
device and reports this information back to
theZ-wave controlunit.
• Controlled by smartphone or tablet via agateway like
theZipabox Duo or directly via aseparate remote
control (sold separately). Caneven be controlled
manually by pushing thebutton on the receiver.
• Also equipped with abuilt-in repeater function which
allows other remote receivers to more readily receive
signals by repeating thesignals it receives from
thegateway or remote control.
Installation
1. Plug thereceiver into awall socket.
2. Set your Z-wave control device to learningmode.
3. Push thebutton on thereceiver to connect it to your
existing Z-wave network.

Care and maintenance
• Always disconnect thereceiver from thewall socket
before cleaning.
• Thereceiver should be cleaned by wiping it with
adrycloth.
Troubleshootingguide
If thereceiver
does not work
then check
thefollowing.
• Make sure that thereceiver
is connected to your Z-wave
network.
• Check that thereceiver
is properly plugged into
theelectrical socket.
• Check that thewall socket islive.
• Make sure theconnected light is
turnedon.
• Make sure that thedistance
between thedevices is not
toogreat.
• Make sure that there is nothing
hindering wireless transmission
such as other interfering wireless
devices, walls, ceilings,etc.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with
local regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed,
contact your local council.
