Mobilteil in Betrieb nehmen
Dieses Mobilteil können Sie als zusätzliches Mobilteil an einem
PowerTel 1880, PowerTel 1780 oder PowerTel 1700 anmelden.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Menüpunkt „Erinnerungen“ bei
einem Betrieb an einem PowerTel 1700 ohne Funktion ist.
1. Öffnen Sie das Akkufach und stecken Sie den Stecker des Ak-
kupacks sorgfältig in die Buchse (der Anschluss ist
verpolungs sicher).
2. Legen Sie den Akkupack mit der Markierung „This side up“
nach oben in das Akkufach und verlegen Sie das Kabel so,
dass der Deckel aufgeschoben werden kann.
3. Schieben Sie den Akkufachdeckel wieder auf, bis er spürbar
einrastet.
Damit das Mobilteil vollständig geladen wird, muss es min-
destens 16 Stunden in die Ladestation gesetzt werden (Stromver-
sorgung der Ladestation prüfen!).
Wichtig: Verwenden Sie unbedingt nur den mitgelieferten
Akkupack. Auch bei einem späteren Austausch darf nur die-
ser Akkutyp verwendet werden.
Mobilteil anmelden
Anmelden am PowerTel 1780/1700:
1. Drücken Sie im Ruhezustand die Ruftaste (beim PowerTel
1780 an der Seite der Basisstation) für ca. 6 s.
2. Stellen Sie das Mobilteil in die Ladeschale. Nach kurzer Zeit
ist das Mobilteil angemeldet.
Anmelden am PowerTel 1880:
1. Drücken Sie im Ruhezustand die Menütaste .
2. Wählen Sie Einstellungen und drücken Sie AUSWAHL.
3. Wählen Sie Anmeldung und drücken Sie AUSWAHL.
4. Stellen Sie das Mobilteil in die Ladeschale. Nach kurzer Zeit
ist das Mobilteil angemeldet.

Connect the cordless handset
You can register this handset as an additional handset on a Pow-
erTel 1880, PowerTel 1780 or PowerTel 1700.
Please note that the "Reminder" menu item is not functional dur-
ing operation on a PowerTel 1700.
1. Open the battery compartment and plug the battery pack con-
nector firmly into the jack (the connection has polarity protec-
tion).
2. Place the supplied rechargeable battery with the label THIS
SIDE UP facing up and tuck the wires inside the battery com-
partment.
3. Slide the battery compartment cover towards the centre of
the handset until it clicks into place.
For a full charge, the handset must be left in the charger for at
least 16 hours (check the charger’s power supply!).
Important: Use only the battery supplied with this product. If
the battery needs to be replaced later on the same battery
type must be used.
Registering the handset
Registering to a PowerTel 1780/1700
1. In idle state press and hold down the Page key (PowerTel
1780: on the side of the base) for approx. 6 seconds.
2. Place the handset in the charger. After a short time the hand-
set will be registered.
Registering to a PowerTel 1880
1. In idle state press the menu key .
2. Select Settings and press SELECT.
3. Select Registration and press SELECT.
4. Place the handset in the charger. After a short time the hand-
set will be registered.
Setting the language (delivery state: GERMAN)
1. Press the menu key .
2. Select Einstellungen and press the menu key .
3. Press the menu key to select Displaysprache.
4. Select a language and press the menu key .
5. Press the menu key to confirm.

Mise en service du mobile
Il est possible de relier ce combiné, en tant qu’unité mobile sup-
plémentaire, à un PowerTel 1880, PowerTel 1780 ou PowerTel
1700. Veuillez noter que dans la rubrique “Rappel”, il ne sera pas
activé en cas d’utilisation d’un PowerTel 1700.
1. Ouvrir le compartiment batterie et insérer soigneusement la
fiche dans la douille (protégée contre inversion de polarité).
2. Mettre le set d’accumulateurs, l’inscription « This side up »
vers le haut, dans le compartiment et disposer le câble de
sorte que le couvercle peut être déplacé.
3. Remettre le couvercle du compartiment jusqu’à ce qu’il
s’enclenche.
Pour recharger le mobile complètement, il faut le laisser au moins
16 heures dans le bloc de chargement (vérifier l’alimentation du
bloc de chargement !).
Avis important : N’utilisez impérativement que la batterie
fournie. Aussi en cas de remplacement ultérieur, seul ce type
de batterie doit être utilisé.
Enregistrer mobile
Relier au PowerTel 1780/1700:
1. Appuyez en mode veille sur la touche d’appel
(PowerTel 1780 : au bord de la station de base) pour env. 6
sec.
2. Insérer le mobile dans le bloc d’alimentation. Peu après, le
mobile est enregistré.
Relier au PowerTel 1880:
1. Appuyez en mode veille sur la touche menu .
2. Sélectionnez Réglages et appuyez sur CHOISIR.
3. Sélectionnez Enregistrer et appuyez sur CHOISIR.
4. Insérer le nouveau mobile dans le bloc d’alimentation. Peu
après, le mobile est enregistré.
Réglage de la langue (dans l’état initial : ALLEMAND)
1. Appuyez sur .
2. Sélectionnez Einstellungen et appuyez sur .
3. Appuyez sur pour sélectionner Displaysprache.
4. Sélectionnez une langue et appuyez sur .
5. Appuyez sur to confirm.
