OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
· Batteries: Locate battery compartment latch on top of megaphone (A).
Open and insert 8 "C" size batteries (not included) into the battery sleeves
(B). (C) Follow battery diagram on label and sleeves for battery direction.
Close megaphone.
· Battery Status: The megaphone has 3 LED's LOW, MID, HIGH (D), that will tell
you the current strength of the battery. Note: Drained batteries do not give
sufficient sound volume. Replace the batteries when LOW LED lights when
trigger is squeezed. Remove batteries when not in use for a long time.
· Talk: Make sure that the switch is in the (E) Off / Talk position. Place mouth
about one inch from microphone squeeze trigger and speak or you can (F), (G)
slide switch on the side of the microphone up into the locked position. (H) ON
CAUTION: If you do not move switch into the OFF position when done,
megaphone will stay ON and drain the batteries. Microphone can also be re-
moved from bracket. To increase volume, rotate volume control knob from bot- (I)
tom to top.
When you have a fresh set of batteries you may get "feedback" when talking. To
eliminate feedback you need to turn down the gain. Locate the gain control in (J)
the battery compartment. Turn until you do not hear any feedback. Less gain,
turn counter clockwise. More gain, turn clockwise.

Siren: To activate , move switch to the right. Siren will be heard. There Siren (E)
is no control of the volume.
· Whistle: To activate Whistle (E), move switch to the left. Whistle will be heard.
There is no control of the volume.
· Property Label: Located on the bottom of the bell. Use marking pen to write
ownership name on megaphone.
