1. General Product Informaon

1.1 What is Autodesk® SketchBook® Pro soware? 6

Autodesk SketchBook® Pro for Windows or Mac is a fun and intuitive paint and drawing application,

helping you to transform your computer into an ideal artist toolkit. With tools designed for professional

artists illustrators and designers - -use interface will help to unlock the artist in , , SketchBook Pro’s easy to

everyone. SketchBook Pro is specially designed to work in companion with pen tablets such as Wacom®

Bamboo , Intuos™®, and Cintq® products and Windows® tablets to deliver an authentic drawing

experience.

1.2 What types of hardware can I run Autodesk SketchBook Pro on?

Autodesk SketchBook Pro runs on Microso® Windows®XP, Windows® and on 6 7 Mac OS ® Version

10.6, 10.7, or 10.8 with Intel®-based Mac systems only.

1.3 What are the System Requirements for Windows?

 Microsoft® Windows7® or Windows® XP

 1 GHz Intel or AMD processor

 1 GB of RAM

 Graphics card capable of 1,024 x 768 display with 128MB RAM

 Pressure-sensitive tablet and pen recommended for basic features.

1.4 What are the System Requirements for Mac?

 Apple® Mac OS® Version 10.6, 10.7, or 10.8 1GHz, Intel-Based CPU ,

 1GB of RAM

 Graphics card capable of 1,024 x 768 display with 128MB RAM, recommended with Core Image

 Pressure-sensitive tablet and pen recommended for basic features.

1.5 What languages are supported?

SketchBook Pro is localized into 8 languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese,

Korean, Simplied Chinese and Tradional Chinese.

1.6: Can I use SketchBook Pro to make photographs into images that look like painngs?

No, SketchBook Pro does not have lters or brushes for creang natural media eects (i.e. water color,

oil paint). However, we have introduced new synthec paintbrushes and blending/smudging tools in this

version that create results similar to acrylic paints.

2. Installaon, Conguraon, and Licensing

2.1 I am a current user of SketchBook Pro 2011. Is there an upgrade oer for version 6?

Yes, as an exisng customer, you are entled to purchase the upgrade version. You can purchase a

license directly through the online Autodesk Store (available for internaonal purchase) or you can

purchase through any Autodesk Authorized Reseller.

2.2 Is there a Trial version to try out?

Yes, the full featured trial version can be downloaded from ww sketchbook.com/trysketchbook The w. .

trial runs for 15 non-consecuve days, allowing you to explore the applicaon at your own pace.

2.3 How do I upgrade my Trial to the full version?

If you like the trial version, you can purchase a license directly through the online Autodesk Store

(available for internaonal purchase) or you can purchase through any Autodesk Authorized Reseller.

Once you receive an Acvaon Code, you simply enter this into the Acvaon Dialog of the Trial version.

This converts the trial permanently into the full featured applicaon so you will not lose your work.

2.4 Am I allowed to install SketchBook Pro on mulple machines??

It is possible to install Sketchbook Pro on mulple machines; however, all users are subject to the End

User License Agreement, secon 3, which describes allowable and permied uses.

2.5 I am geng new hardware. Can I transfer my license to a new machine if it is a dierent plaorm?

If you are switching to new hardware (Mac to Windows or vice versa) you simply need to install and use

your Acvaon Codes to acvate SketchBook Pro on your new hardware.
