◈CableConnection

1.Turn theoff printerandperipheraldevices.

2.Connectthe thepowercordto adapterandconnectthe theadapterto power

supplyconnectoroftheprinter.

3.Checkthe the the thetypeof interfacesat backof printer  (USB, Serial,

Parallel,Ethernet,PoweredUSB,Wireless LAN andBluetooth)  and connect

theinterfacecable.

4.Connectthedrawerkick-out kick-outcabletothedrawer portlocatedonthe

undersideoftheprinter.

Donotuseanadapterthat thewasnotsuppliedwith printer.



◈Installing  Paper Roll



1.Pushthe the Cover OpenButtontoopen 

PrinterCover.

2.Insertnewrollpaperinthecorrect

direction.

3.Pullthe thepaperout closeslightlyand  

PrinterCover.



Whenclosingthecover,pressdownonthecenterofthecover

to ensure thatthe thepaperis in contactwith roller.Printing

qualitymaynotbeoptimumifrecommendedpaperisnot

used.



◈Using Control Panel



•Power (LED)

       The Power LED is on whenever the printer  is on.

•Error (LED)

Redlightwillbeonin suchvariouserrorconditions asout of

paper,coveropen,etc.

•Paper (LED)

RedLEDwillbelit iswhenthepaperroll runninglow.

TheLEDkeepsblinkingwhentheprinterisinself-test

standbymodeormacroexecutionstandbymode.

•Feed (Button)

Pressthis tobutton feedthepaperout.

Holddownthis tobutton feedoutthepapercontinuously.



◈Self-Test

The functionalityprinter’s canbecheckedthroughtheself-test.Printing

quality, beROMversion,andmemoryswitchsettingscan checkedthroughthe

self-testfunction.



1.Check correctly.whether insertedpaperis  

2.Turn the theon power downwhileholding  Feedbuttonandtheself-test

procedure will begin.

3.Theprinter        will print out details of its current status includingwhichversion

ofROM.

4.Afterprintingoutits printcurrentstatus willofprinter,theprinter  following

linesandwaitforthenextstep(paperlightwillkeepblinking).

SELECTMODESBYPRESSINGFEEDBUTTON.

ContinuousSELF-TEST : Lessthan1second

VMSMSelection: 1 secondormore

5.Pressthe theFeed downbuttontoresumeprintingorhold  buttonforat

leastonesecondtochangetheVMSMsettings.

5-1If“Continuous is“Self-Test” selected

(1)Press fortheFeedbutton lessthanonesecondtoprintthe  preset page.

(2)Theselftestendsautomaticallyasitprintsthefollowinglineandcuts

thepaper.

test.

If a selecteditemisnotlistedabove,     the list of “VMSM Selection”

will willbeprintedagain.Settingthemode becanceledifnoitem

is inselected Step1.

If“0:Exitandrebootprinter”isnotexecuted,thenewsettings

willnotbesaved.

(3)Holddown Feedthe buttonforatleast 1 secondtosavethechanges.

Thefollowinglinewillbe paper.printedbeforecuttingthe 
