the toaster use the toast control lever to raise the food for easy removal.

TOASTING CYCLE

1. Adjust toast shade selector to the desired setting (1 through 7).

2. Insert slices of bread, bagels or other foods to be toasted in appropriate slot and press toast

control lever until it locks into the down position. The self-adjusting guides automatically

center food being toasted.

3. When selecting BAGEL or FROZEN function, you must press the toast control lever before

selecting one of these settings.

4. When toasting is complete, the toast control lever releases and the appliance shuts off.

5. Unplug the toaster when not in use.

NOTE: The Bagel function warms the outside of the bagel while toasting the cut side. Always

place bagels cut side facing the interior of the toaster.

REMOVING EXCESS CRUMBS

1. To remove exceses crumbs, let unit cool, unplug unit, open crumb door - shake excess into

appropriate trash recepticle. Close and latch crumb door before using.

CARE AND CLEANING

This product contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified service personnel.

CLEANING

Always unplug the cord from electrical outlet and allow toaster to cool before cleaning. Do not

immerse toaster in water.

CLEANING OUTSIDE SURFACES

Important: The unit gets hot. Allow the toaster to cool completely before cleaning.

• Wipetheexteriorwithadampclothorspongeanddrywithapapertowel.

• Donotusestrongcleanersorabrasivesthatmayscratchsurfacesandneverspraycleaners

directly onto the toaster.

POLARIZED PLUG (120V MODELS ONLY)

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt into a polarized outlet only one way. If

the plug does not ﬁt fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not ﬁt, contact a

qualiﬁed electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

ELECTRICAL CORD

a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be provided to reduce the risk resulting

from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.

b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is

exercised in their use.

This product is for household use only.

GETTING STARTED

• Placetoasteronaflat,levelsurface,wherethetopoftheunithasenoughspacefortheheatto

flow without damaging the cabinets or walls.

• Removetiefromcordandunwind.

• Plugunitintoelectricaloutlet.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR TOASTER

• Forfirsttimeuse,selectsetting4(medium).Re-adjustthesettingtosuityourpersonal

preference on successive toasting operations.

• Ifthewrongbuttonisselected,presstheCANCELbutton,presstheleverdownandreselect

the desired setting.

CONTROL LEVER WITH BUILT-IN EXTRA LIFT

This toaster has a built-in toast control lever with extra lift. If toasted food does not clear the top of

COMO USAR

PALANCA DE CONTROL DE TOSTADO CON MECANISMO PARA RETIRAR LOS ALIMENTOS

Sielalimentotostadonosobresaledelatostadora,utilicelapalancadecontrolparaelevarloy

poder extraerlo fácilmente.

CICLO DE TOSTAR

1. Ajuste el selector de tostado al nivel deseado (del 1 al 7).

2. Coloque la rebanada de pan u otro alimento en las ranuras y empuje hacia abajo la palanca de

control hasta que quede encajada en la parte inferior de la unidad. Las guías para el pan se

ajustarán automáticamente para sujetar el alimento.

3. Sieligelasfuncionesdebagels(BAGEL)ycongelado(FROZEN),debepresionarlapalancade

control antes de elegir uno de estos ajustes.

4. Cuando se haya completado el tostado, las emisiones de palanca de control de tostado y el

aparato se apaga.

5. Desenchufe la tostadora Cuando no está en uso.

EXTRACCIÓN DE MIGAS EN EXCESO

1. Para quitar migajas exceses, deje enfriar la unidad, desenchufe la unidad, abra la puerta miga

- Exceso sacudida en la basura receptáculo apropiado. Cierre y asegure la puerta miga antes

de usar.
