Thank you for choosing Brabantia quality. Please read the instructions in this booklet carefully before using the scales and
keep it safe for future use.

Safety Instructions
• The scales are suitable for indoors domestic use only.
• Clean with a lightly dampened cloth without allowing any water to get into the device. Do not use solvents or immerse
the product in water or any other liquid. The scales are not watertight.
• Please dispose of used batteries in a responsible manner by recycling.
• Do not exceed the capacity of the scales.
• This product is a sensitive electronic instrument and as such may temporarily be affected by Radio
Transmitting Devices being used in close proximity to it. Additionally, extreme levels of Electrostatic
Interference may cause this product to temporarily malfunction. In such cases it may be necessary to
remove and re-install the batteries to re-establish normal working. If the problem persists then contact
your local supplier.
• Remove the batteries if the product is not in use for an extended period. The scale is not suitable for
rechargable batteries.
• Scales tested according to CE norms.
The scales can be slippery when wet – be careful!

To save battery life, the scales will automatically switch off after 6 seconds if not being used. The scales will automatically
switch off after 30 seconds if there are no changes in the weight on the scales.
Error Display Information
Mounting the bracket to the wall
• Beware not to drill into electric, water or gas pipes!
• To reduce damage to the tiles, it is better to drill into the joints where possible.
• If you attach a piece of tape over the position of the drilling hole before you start drilling, the bit will not slip on the
shiny tile surface.
• Fix the product only onto a solid wall or surface and use appropriate plugs (the enclosed plugs are for solid brick or
concrete walls only) – different walls will require different sorts of plugs.
• Only use the enclosed stainless steel screws and a ø 6 mm drill.
• Be sure the result is stable and capable of coping with the weight of the scales!
Open the battery housing in the base of the scales and fit the
batteries, making sure the + and – signs on the batteries match the
equivalent signs.

You can change the measuring units from metric to imperial or vice
versa (i.e. KG/ST/LB) by simply pressing the units/up button located
on the underside of the scales.
1. Press the SET key at the back on the underside of the scales for
about 2 seconds to enter the Time Setting Mode – the hour digits
will flash up.
2. Now press on the unit/up button to set the correct time in hours
– each time you press the button the time will increase with one
hour. Press the button continually to speed up adding ‘hours’.
3. After setting the ‘hours’, press the SET key again to enter the
minutes setting mode and set the correct time in minutes by
pressing unit/up button.
4. If the correct time is set, press the SET key again to save the
settings and return to the weighing mode.
5. Note: if there are no adjustments in the Time Setting Mode
for 20 seconds, the scales will return to the weighing mode
automatically. In the Clock Setting Mode, you cannot weigh.

1. Place the scales on a hard, flat surface (not carpet).
2. Tap briefly and sharply with your foot in the middle of the
platform to activate the autostart function.
3. Wait until the display reads 0.0 and step onto the scales.
4. If the display is activated while taking it from the hook or moved
around, please wait until the scales switch off (after 6 seconds)
and activate it again.

• Les balances conviennent pour un usage domestique à l’intérieur uniquement.
• Nettoyez avec un tissu légèrement humide sans laisser pénétrer l’eau dans le dispositif. N’utilisez pas de solvants ou
n’immergez pas le produit dans l’eau ou un autre liquide. La balance n’est pas imperméable à l’eau.
• Pensez à recycler vos piles usagées.
• Ne dépassez pas la capacité maximum de la balance.
• Ce produit est un instrument électronique sensible et pourrait être temporairement affecté par des dispositifs de
transmission radio utilisés à proximité. De plus, les niveaux extrêmes d’interférence électrostatique peuvent
causer sur ce produit un dysfonctionnement temporaire. Dans de tels cas il peut être nécessaire d’enlever et
réinstaller les piles pour rétablir le fonctionnement normal. Si le problème persiste, contactez alors le service
consommateurs de Brabantia.
• Enlevez les piles si vous n’utilisez pas le produit pendant une période prolongée. La balance ne peut être
utilisée avec des piles rechargeables.
• Les balances sont testées en accord avec les normes européennes.
• La balance peut être glissante avec l’humidité – soyez prudents!

Pour économiser la vie des piles, la balance s’arrête automatiquement après 6 secondes de non utilisation. La balance
s’éteindra automatiquement après 30 secondes s’il n’y a aucune modification du poids sur la balance.

Montage de la fixation au mur
• Prenez garde à ne pas percer un tuyau électrique, d’eau ou de gaz!
• Pour réduire les dommages sur le carrelage, il est préféreable de percer dans les joints si possible.
• Si vous fixez une bande pour le positionnement du trou avant que vous ne commenciez à percer, le morceau ne glissera
pas sur la surface du carrelage
• Fixez le produit seulement sur un mur ou une surface solide et utilisez les fixations appropriées (les fixations fournies
conviennent pour les murs de briques ou béton solides) – des murs différents nécessiteront des fixations différentes.
• Utilisez seulement les vis en acier inoxydables fournies et un foret de ø 6mm.
• Assurez vous que le résultat est stable et capable de supporter le poids de la balance!
Ouvrez le compartiment des piles à la base de la balance et
adaptez les piles, en vous assurant que les signes + et - sur les piles
correspondent aux signes équivalents.

Vous pouvez changer les unités de mesure du métrique à l’impérial
ou vice versa (c’est-à-dire KG/ST/LIB) en appuyant simplement sur le
bouton d’unités situé sur le dessous de la balance.
1. Appuyez sur la touche SET au dos sur le dessous de la balance
pendant environ 2 secondes pour entrer le mode temps - les
heures s’afficheront.
2. Maintenant appuyez sur le bouton units/up pour afficher la bonne
heure - chaque fois que vous appuyez sur le bouton le temps
augmente d’une heure. Appuyez sur le bouton continuellement
pour accélérer les heures.
3. Après l’affichage des heures, appuyez sur la touche SET de
nouveau pour entrer les minutes sélectionnez le mode et affichez
correctement les minutes en appuyant sur le bouton units/up.
4. Si le temps correct est mis, appuyez sur la touche SET de nouveau
pour sauvegarder les données et retourner au mode pesage.
5. Note : s’il n’y a aucun ajustement fait dans le mode temps
pendant 20 secondes, la balance retournera au mode pesage
automatiquement. Dans le mode horloge, vous ne pouvez pas
effectuer de pesée.

1. Placez la balance sur une surface dure et plane (ne pas poser
sur un tapis).
2. Appuyez brièvement et fermement avec votre pied au milieu du
plateau afin d’activer la fonction de démarrage automatique.
3. Attendez que l’écran indique 0.0 puis montez sur la balance.
4. Si l’écran est activé lorsque vous la prenez ou la déplacez, merci
d’attendre que la balance s’éteigne (après 6 secondes) puis
activez-la de nouveau.

• Die Waage ist nur für den häuslichen Gebrauch geeignet.
• Reinigen Sie mit einem feuchten Tuch, ohne das Wasser ins Gehäuse gelangt. Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht ins Wasser
oder sonstige Flüssigkeiten. Die Waagen sind nicht wasserdicht.
• Entsorgen Sie gebrauchte Batterien bei den dafür vorgesehenen Entsorgungsstellen.
• Überschreiten Sie nicht die maximale Kapazität der Waage.
• Dieses Produkt ist ein elektrosensibles Produkt und kann somit durch Radiogeräte in der direkten Nähe
gestört werden. In diesen Fällen ist es notwendig, die Batterien zu entnehmen und wieder einzusetzen,
um das System neu zu starten. Ansonsten wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren Händler vor Ort.
• Entnehmen Sie bitte die Batterien, falls das Gerät längere Zeit nicht gebraucht wird. Die Waage ist
nicht für wiederaufladbare Batterien geeignet.
• Waagen sind gemäß der CE Normen getestet worden.
Auf feuchten Böden kann die Waage rutschen – seien Sie vorsichtig!

Um Batterien zu sparen schaltet sich die Waage nach 6 Sekunden automatisch aus.
Die Waage schaltet sich automatisch nach 30 Sekunden aus, falls keine Gewichtsveränderung vorliegt.
Fehlermeldungen im Display
Befestigung der Halterung an der Wand
• Achten Sie bei der Bohrung auf Elektro-/ Gas-/ oder Wasserleitungen!
• Um die Gefahr von Schäden an Fliesen zu reduzieren, ist es besser in die Fugen zu bohren.
• Wenn Sie einen Klebestreifen auf die Bohrstelle der Fliesen kleben, vermeiden Sie, dass der Bohrer auf der Oberfläche
verrutscht.
• Befestigen Sie das Produkt nur an einer stabilen Wandoberfläche und verwenden die beiliegenden Dübel (die
beiliegenden Dübel sind nur für Stein-/ oder Betonwände geeignet) – sonstige Wände erfordern andere Dübel.
• Verwenden Sie die beiliegenden Edelstahlschrauben und einen ø 6 mm Bohrer.
• Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Festigkeit der Halterung für das Gewicht der Waage geeignet ist!
Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Unterseite der Waage und setzen
die Batterien ein – achten Sie auf die + und – Pole.

Sie können zwischen de Messeinheiten kg/st/Lb durch einfaches
Drücken der Einheits-Taste auf der Unterseite der Waage.
1. Drücken Sie die SET Taste auf der Unterseite der Waage für 2
Sekunden um in den Zeiteinstellungsmodus zu gelangen – die
Zeitanzeige erscheint.
2. Jetzt drücken Sie auf die UNITS/UP-Taste und stellen die Zeit ein –
durch Drücken verändern Sie die Stunde. Halten Sie den Knopf zur
Beschleunigung des Vorgangs.
3. Nachdem die Stunden eingestellt wurden drücken Sie erneut die
SET-Taste und gelangen in die Einstellung der Minuten. Durch
Drücken der UNITS-Taste verändern Sie die Minuten.
4. Nachdem die korrekte Zeit eingestellt wurde, drücken Sie erneut
die SET-Taste und die Eingaben zu speichern und um in den
Wiegemodus zurück zu gelangen.
5. Beachten Sie: Falls nach 20 Sekunden im Modus der
Zeiteinstellung keine Änderungen vorgenommen werden, gelangt
man automatisch wieder in den Wiegemodus zurück. Im Modus
der Zeiteinstellung können Sie nicht wiegen.

1. Stellen Sie die Waage auf eine feste, flache Oberfläche (kein
Teppich).
2. Setzen Sie kurz Ihren Fuß fest auf die Mitte der Trittfläche um die
Autostart Funktion zu aktivieren.
3. Warten Sie, bis auf dem Display 0.0 zu lesen ist und betreten
nun die Waage.
4. Falls das Display aktiviert wird, während Sie die Waage von der
Wand nehmen und sie transportieren, warten sie bis die Waage
sich ausschaltet (nach ca. 6 Sekunden) und aktivieren die Waage
erneut.

Istruzioni di sicurezza
• Le bilance sono adatte solo per uso domestico ed interno .
• Pulire con panno leggermente inumidito evitando che l’acqua entri nel dispositivo. Non usare solventi o immergere il
prodotto in acqua o altri liquidi. Le bilancia non sono a tenuta stagna.
• Si prega di smaltire le batterie scariche negli appositi contenitori per la raccolta differenziata.
• Non eccedere la portata delle bilance.
• Come tutti gli strumenti elettronici è sensibile alle onde elettromagnetiche causate da altri dispositivi
utilizzati nelle vicinanze. Le cariche elettrostatiche inoltre, possono provocare alterazioni temporanee.
In questi casi può essere necessario rimuovere e reinstallare le batterie per ristabilire il normale
funzionamento. Se il problema persiste, contattate il vostro rivenditore.
• Rimuovere le batterie se il prodotto non viene utilizzato per un tempo prolungato. La bilancia non è
adatta per utilizzo con batterie ricaricabili.
• Bilancia testata come da normative CE.
La bilancia se umida può essere scivolosa - fate attenzione!

Per allungare la durata delle batterie, la bilancia si spegne automaticamente se rimane inutilizzata per 6 secondi. La
bilancia si spegne automaticamente se entro 30 secondi non si registrano cambiamenti di peso.
Informazioni su possibili messaggi di Errore
Montaggio del supporto a muro
• Attenzione a non forare tubi dell’acqua, elettrici o del gas!
• Per evitare danni alle piastrelle, è meglio praticare un foro in corrispondenza della giuntura.
• Attaccando del nastro adesivo sul bordo della piastrella prima di forare, la punta del trapano non scivolerà.
• Fissare l’articolo solo su una parete o una superficie solide ed utilizzare le spine adatte (quelle incluse possono essere
utilizzate solo su pareti di cemento) - muri in materiale diverso richiedono altri tipi di spine.
• Usare solo le viti in acciaio inox fornite ed un trapano Ø 6 mm.
• Assicurarsi che il supporto possa sostenere il peso della bilancia!
Inserire le batterie nell’alloggio sul fondo della bilancia, facendo
attenzione che i segni + e - corrispondano.

È possibile modificare le unità di misura da sistema metrico a
imperiale o viceversa (cioè KG / ST / LB) semplicemente premendo il
pulsante nella parte inferiore della bilancia
1. Premere il tasto SET nella parte inferiore della bilancia per circa 2
secondi per entrare nella funzione Impostazione Orario – l’orario
lampeggerà
2. Premere ora il pulsante nella parte superiore per impostare l’ora
esatta – ogni volta che il tasto viene premuto, l’orario aumenterà
di un’ora. Tenendo premuto il tasto, si velocizza l’aggiunta
dell’ora.
3. Premere di nuovo il tasto SET per entrare nell’impostazione minuti
ed inserirli tenendo premuto il tasto superiore.
4. Se l’orario è impostato correttamente, premere ancora il tasto SET
per salvare i dati ritornando alla modalità pesatura.
5. Nota: se entro 20 secondi l’orario non viene regolato, la bilancia
ritorna automaticamente alla funzione pesatura. Nella modalità
Orario, non è possibile pesarsi.

3. Attendere che sul display appaia 0.0 e salire sulla bilancia.
4. Se il display si attiva mentre la bilancia viene sganciata oppure
spostata, attendere che si spenga (circa 6 secondi) e riaccenderla.
