PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The Cerwin-Vega! P-Series is a powerful, portable speaker
system with legendary Cerwin-Vega! performance. The P-
Series combines rugged construction, extreme clarity and
unmatched bass performance in an easy to use and
versatile package. The P-Series family includes two active
speaker products: the P1500X full-range speaker and the
P1800SX subwoofer. Both are suited for any sound
reinforcement application, from live performances to DJ
gigs, as well as public speaking engagements.
The P1500X is a two-way, bi-amped, full-range bass-reflex
speaker. It employs a 15-inch woofer and a high-frequency
compression driver, powered by a custom Class-D
amplifier. With a power rating of 1500 watts, the P1500X
is the most powerful PA product in its class. A proprietary
hemi-conical horn provides premium sound clarity over an
even and wide coverage area. A built-in mixer with
convenient I/O connections allows for simple and fast
setup, while enhanced EQ, VEGA BASS boost and high-pass
filters enable exact tuning and exceptional performance
for any application. The P1500X is a versatile product that
can be used as a single speaker for a small venue, set in
pairs for a larger venue needing more coverage and SPL, or
as a floor monitor for a band.
To add value and versatility for traveling bands or permanent installs, the P1500X enclosure is built of a
lightweight, robust polymer featuring integrated ribs for durability and resonant free performance. The
professional enclosure includes a unique multi-angle pole cup, comfortable ergonomic handles and built-in
rigging points on the P1500X for suspended installations.
The P1800SX complements the P-Series with low frequency extension. The powered subwoofer employs an
18-inch woofer with a custom 2000 watt Class-D amplifier. The large woofer and matched amplifier are
enclosed in a multi-ply hardwood cabinet, the combination which provides a superior punch and extreme low-
frequency response, which are both Cerwin-Vega! trademarks. Like the P1500X, the P1800SX has frequency-
shaping controls and the unrivaled VEGA BASS boost. This ensures the user can dial in the correct amount of
bass for each venue. While designed for use with the P1500X, the P1800SX can also be used for low frequency
extension with other Cerwin-Vega! tops or even other brands. Additionally, the THRU, MIX and LINK outputs
allow for system expandability and fast daisy-chaining between components.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
USABILITY
Angle-adjustable pole mount socket, side-wedge shaped enclosure and M10-threaded suspension points support a
variety of permanent and portable setups
The pole mount socket can be angle adjusted to set the
loudspeaker in a normal flat position or a 7.5 degree
downward tilt for improved audience coverage from a
raised position
An integrated rigid feet design on the side-wedge
