• Ensurethecarafeisplacedproperlyinitspositionwhenbrewingcoee.
• Betweenbrewingprocessesswitchotheapplianceandletitcooldownforabout5minutes.Thenrellwithcoldwater.
• Afterthebrewingprocess,alwaysswitchotheappliance.
• Disconnecttheappliancebeforecleaning.
• ToswitchotheapplianceusetheOn/Oswitch,thecontrollampindicateswhenthemaschineisturnedo.

USING THE MACHINE FOR THE FIRST TIME
Beforemakingcoeeyoushouldusethecoemakeroncewithwateronly(withoutcoeeorlterpaper).
1. First,taketherequiredlengthofcablefromthestoragecompartment,andclampinposition.
2. Inserttheplugintothesocket.
3. Fillthecarafewithcoldwater,tipupthelid,pourwaterfromtheaskintothewatertank,tipdownthelidinoriginalposition.
4. Placethecarafeinoriginalposition.
5. Notethatthelidshouldbetightenedcorrectly.
6. StartthebrewingprocessbypressingtheOn/Oswitch.
FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
To prepare Coee or Tea:
1. Takeastandard1x2paperlterandputintothelterbasket,thenaddnecessaryamountofgroundcoee(approx.7gpercup)ortea.
2. Insertthelterassemblyintoposition.
3. Fillupthewatercontainerwithrequiredquantityofwater,putonthelidandplacethecarafeintoposition.
4. Turnontheswitch,theindicatorlightup,theappliancestartworking.
Anti-drip function:
Consumercantakeoutthecarafeduringcooking,theanti-dripvalvewillfunctionandnocoeeorteawilldripout.Drippingwillstartagainafter
thecarafeisinpositiononthewarmingplate.Topreventoverowfromlter,nevertakethecarafeawayforover20seconds.
Auto Keep Warm:
Afterthebrewingcompleted,thekeepwarmfunctionwillstartautomaticallyiftheappliancestillinON-position.Whenthemachineisnotturned
omanually,thesafetyauto-ofunctionturnsitoafter40minutes.
Temperature Control device:
WhentheapplianceisinON-positionwithoutwaterorafternishedbrewingwater,thetemperaturewillincreaseandthetemperaturecontrol
devicewillcutothepowerautomaticallyattherequiredtemperature.
Fuse device:
Thisapplianceequippedwithasecondtemperatureprotection.Incasethetemperaturecontroldevicemalfunction,thefusedevicewillcutothe
power.Unplugtheapplianceatonce.

• Cleantheappliancewithadampclothonly.
• Thecarafecanbecleanedwithwarmwater,somewashing-upliquidandasoftbrush.Donotcleanthecarafeinadishwasher.
DESCALING
Tomakesurethatyourcoeemakergoesonproducingperfectcoeeyouwillneed,fromtimetotime,todescaleit.Frequencywilldependon
howhardthewaterisinyourarea,andhowoftenyouusethecoeemaker.Ifyouuseyourcoeemakeronceortwiceaday,thefollowinggui-
delinesfordescalingshouldheused:
• Softwater,every6months.
• Mediumwater,every2-3months.
• Hardwater,every6-8weeks.
Ifthetimeittakestobrewacanofcoeesuddenlyisincreaseditisrecommendedthatthecoeemakerisdescaled.Theharderthewaterisin
yourarea,themoreoftenthecoeemakerneedstobedescaled.Thehardnessofthewatercanbeadvisedatyourlocalwaterworks.
