• ThisgriddleplateisdesignedtobeusedonlywiththeChef’sChoice

electricgrill.Donotuseitwithanyothertypeofcookingequipment.

• Beforeuse,llthedriptrayofthemodel880or878grillwithenoughcleanwatersothatthe

levelisbetweenthe“Min”and“Max”labelsstampedinthetray.Havingthetrayproperlylled

withwaterensuresmoreevencookingtemperaturesandgreatlyimprovesitseaseofcleaning.

• Beforetherstuse,washthegriddleplatewithwarmwaterandsoap.Removethegrillplate

fromtheelectricgrill,andreplaceitwiththegriddleplate.Seasonthegriddlebylightlyrubbing

cookingoilontothesurface.Next,pluginthepowercordandturnontheOn/Offswitch.Heaton

setting‘8’forabout10minutes.

• Cookingtemperatureswillbedifferentwiththiscastaluminumgriddlethanwiththecookinggrate

thatoriginallycamewithyourElectricGrill.Itisrecommendedtostartcookingatasettingof‘8’and

adjustbasedonexperience.

• Allowthegriddleplatetofullycoolbeforeremovalorcleaning.

• Cleaninginthedishwasherisnotrecommended.Hightemperaturesandstrongdetergentscan

shortenthelifeofthenon-stickcoating.

• Cleanthegriddleplatebyhandwashingwithdishwashingsoapandwarmwater.Donotuse

steelwoolorharshabrasivepads.

• Donotoverheattheemptygriddleplate.Turnoffandunplugthegrillwhennotinuse.

• Donotusesharputensilsorcutfoodswithaknifeonthegriddleplate.Knicksordeepscratches

canlessentheeffectivenessofthenonstickcoating.
