Safety
• This appliance can be used by children
aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance in asafe way and understand
thehazards involved.
• Children shall not play with theappliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
• This fan is only intended for normal domestic
use and only in themanner described in this
instruction manual.
• Thefan is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never subject thefan to high temperatures, dust,
heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Never immerse thefan, its mains lead or
plug inwater.
• Children should be closely supervised when
in thepresence of anoperatingfan.
• Always unplug thefan from thepower point
when it is not inuse.
• Never poke anything through thegrille while
thefan is operating.
• Never use thefan where flammable or
explosive substances are used or stored.
• Make sure that themains lead does not come
into contact with hot surfaces, naked flames,
sharp edges or is crushed in anyway.
• Do not position thefan where there is arisk
of someone tripping over themains lead or
pulling thefan over because themains lead
is hanging over theedge of acounter or
tabletop.
• Never use thefan if it, its mains lead or
plug is damaged in any way or not working
correctly.
• If thesupply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by themanufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid ahazard.
• Never use accessories which are not
recommended by themanufacturer or
retailer.
• Always grip theplug when unplugging
thefan, never pull themainslead.
• Always place thefan on adry, stable surface.
• Warning: Donot place thefan next to anopen
window, doing so could result in anelectric
shock or other personal injury.
• Warning: Neveruse thefan with atimer or
other device that could automatically turn
thefan on when it is unattended.
Operating instructions
1. Always place thefan on adry, stable surface.
2. Plug thefan into awall socket.
3. Switch thefan on and adjust its speed using thepower switch on
theback of thefan.
Care and maintenance
• Always switch thefan off and unplug it from thepower point before
cleaning it and when it is not inuse.
• Never pour water or other liquid over thefan, wipe it clean using
adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
Disposal
This marking indicates that this product should
not be disposed with other household wastes
throughout theEU. To prevent possible harm to
theenvironment or human health from uncontrolled
waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote
thesustainable reuse of material resources.
