Operation

Turning on the radio
1.  Check that the power button is in the off position.  
2.  The time should be displayed when the radio is turned off.  
3.  Turn on the radio using the power button [ON/OFF] (10). 
Manual and auto-tuning
1.  Select AM or FM by pressing [BAND SELECTOR] (5). 
2.  Use [ >]  or [< ] to manually search for stations. 
3.  Depress and hold [ >]  or [< ] for two seconds to activate  
the automatic search. When the search function begins release the 
button. The search will continue until a radio station is found.
Preset memory settings
1.  Select a desired radio station (refer to steps 1-3 above). 
2.  Press [memory] once to save the station. 
3.  Use [ >]  or [< ] until you reach a desired available  
memory slot.

4.  Press [MEMORY] once to store the station in position. 
5.  To listen to any one of the saved stations, press [PRESET] (6) to 
select one of the stations between 1 and 10. 
Setting the time
1.  Make sure the radio is turned off and in the mode where  
only time is displayed. 
2.  Depress [CLOCK] (8) for two seconds until the hour display starts 
to flash. 
3.  Press [ >] or [< ] to adjust the hours. 
4.  Press the [CLOCK] button once again to set the hours and the 
minute display should begin to flash. 
5.  Press [ >] or [< ] to adjust the minutes. 
Note: While listening to the radio the time will not be displayed.  
Depress [CLOCK] (8) and the time will be display for 4 seconds. 
Setting the volume
Press the volume control (+) or (-) to increase or decrease the volume 
incrementally. 
DBBS button
Press [DBBS] to turn the dynamic bass function on/off. “DBBS” will be 
displayed on the right of the display when this function  
is activated. 
Lock switch
The lock switch is used to prevent buttons from being pressed  
unintentionally when listening to the radio or when the device  
is off. No functions can be activated/deactivated while the radio  
is locked. When the radio is in locked mode the lock icon will be 
shown in the display. 
Headphone socket
• Prolonged exposure to high volume can damage your hearing. 
• Make sure that the volume is at a low level before putting on the 
headphones.
• Increase the volume gradually to the desired level. 
Batteries  
• The weak battery icon is shown when the battery becomes weak. 
• When inserting the batteries, make sure that the polarities 
correspond to the markings in the battery compartment. 
Safety
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures or moisture. 
• Do not expose the device to knocks/blows or place heavy objects 
upon it. 
• Do not use solvents for cleaning. 
• Do not disassemble or try to repair the device by yourself.
