1. Close thebleed screw. 2. Turn thelog splitter upside down, detach thewheels
and remove theplugs from theends of thelegs.
3. First fit theextensions to thelegs on themotor
side using thescrews labelled . Then screw A
thecross member between thelegs using
thescrews labelled (do not fully tighten B
thescrews yet).
4. Fit thewheels onto thelegs. Adjust thewheels
so that they are parallel to each other and then
tighten screws and .A B

5. Fit theextensions to thelegs on theother side
of thelog splitter using thescrews labelled .A
6. Fit thefoot onto theends of thelegs using
screws labelled . Turn thelog splitter C
theright way up.
7. Attach thehandle. 8. Check that all thescrews and nuts are tightened.
9. Remember to open thebleed screw again
before operating thelog splitter.
