Safety
1. This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from physical or mental impairment.
This product should not be used by anyone without sufcient experience or knowledge if they have not been
instructed in its use by someone who will take responsibility for their safety.
2. Never let children play with the product.
3. Never leave the deep fryer unattended during use.
Never attempt to put out an oil re with water. Unplug out the power lead and smother the re
using a re blanket.
4. Make sure that the voltage used is suitable for the appliance. Refer to the rating plate.
5. This appliance must only be used with an earthed wall socket.
6. Always disconnect the appliance from the mains before cleaning it or during periods of non-use.
7. To prevent electric shock, the appliance and its power lead should be kept dry.
8. Never lay the power lead over hot surfaces or pull it round sharp edges or corners.
9. Never unplug the fryer by pulling on the mains lead.
10. The appliance becomes very hot during use. Be careful not to touch any hot parts with your bare hands.
Never touch parts of the fryer other than the handle.
11. The power lead should be checked regularly. Never use appliances with faulty or damaged power leads.
The mains lead may only be changed at the place of purchase or by a qualied professional (refer to the back
for more information).
12. Never let children use the appliance without adult supervision.
13. Make sure the appliance is correctly assembled before use.
14. Never use the appliance in the vicinity of other sources of heat e.g. the cooker.
15. The fryer is only intended for indoor use.
16. Never use the product to melt fat. This poses a re risk.
17. Be extra careful when moving the fryer when it contains hot oil.
18. Ensure that the food being fried is as dry as possible. Water will cause hot oil to splatter.
19. Never overll the frying basket.
20. Never turn the fryer on without oil in the container.
21. Never use accessories other than the ones included.
22. Never use the appliance for anything other than the use for which it is intended.
23. Never plug the heating element into a wall socket if it has been removed from the appliance.
24. The fryer may not be used for commercial purposes.
