Please read theentire instruction manual before use and save
it for future reference. Wereserve theright for any errors in text
or images and for making any necessary technical changes to

Safety
• Incorrect handling of this product could result in personal injury.
• Great care should be exercised when handling and cleaning
theblade and thebowl. Thechopping blade is verysharp.
• The product should always be disconnected from
themains when it is not in use, when it is to be assembled/
disassembled and when it is to be cleaned.
• The product must not be used by children. Ensurethat
theproduct and its mains lead are kept out of children’sreach.
• The product must only be used with theincluded motorunit.
• Avoid subjecting theglass bowl to sudden changes in
temperature.
• NOTE: Ensurethat theproduct is switched off before
thebowl is removed from themotorunit.
• Switch theproduct off and disconnect it from themains
before removing theblade or any of themoving parts.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capability, lack of experience or knowledge
which could jeopardize their safety, provided they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning thesafe use of
theproduct and understand thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Ensure that theproduct is used with thecorrect voltage.
Referto theproduct’s rating plate.
• Always remove thebowl from themotor unit before cleaning.
Theblade is extremely sharp and could cause serious
personal injury if theproduct were to start accidentally.
• To prevent electric shocks, theproduct and its mains lead
should be keptdry.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges
orcorners.
• Always disconnect theproduct from thepower supply by
holding and pulling theplug. Donot pull themainslead.
• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and
that theproduct is switched off before it is connected to
thepower supply.
5. Press themotor unit down in apulsing motion in order
to chop theingredients. Onceyou have finished, unplug
thechopper and remove themotor unit andlid.
6. Carefully remove thechopping blade. Pourout
thechopped ingredients from thebowl.

Cleaning
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall socket
beforecleaning.
• Wipe themotor unit clean with amoistened cloth.
Neverimmerse themotor unit inwater.
• All other removable parts are dishwasher safe.
• Certain pigmented foods may discolour thechopper’s
plastic components when chopped. Ifthis happens, wipe
these parts with athin film of vegetable oil before placing
them in thedishwasher.
• Be extra careful with thechopping blade, so that you do
not cut yourself while cleaning it.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.

Operation
Important:
• Never operate thechopper for more than 15 seconds at
atime. Letit cool for 2 minutes between eachuse.
• Never operate thechopper with thebowl filled with liquid.
• Never use thechopper for hard ingredients like coffee
beans, ice cubes, whole spices, chocolate, etc.
• Cut larger ingredients into smaller pieces, approx. 2 cm
before using the hacker.
1. Remove theplastic cover from thechopping blade.
Placethechopping blade onto thebowl’s centre pin.
Note:Thechopping blade is verysharp.
2. Add theingredients to be chopped. Referto
theprocessing guide for appropriate amounts.
3. Put thelidon.
4. Insert themotor unit into thelid, centring it over theblade
spindle. Plugthemains lead into awall socket.
