Safety
• Place thesandwich toaster on adry, flat and durable surface. Make sure that there
is sufficient free space around and above theappliance.
• Remember that thesandwich toaster will become very hot when used. Touch only
thehandles, in order to avoid burns.
• Remember that steam may emerge from thesandwich toaster when you open it.
• Use thesandwich toaster only as described in this manual.
• Keep an eye on thesandwich toaster if using it around children.
• Always unplug thesandwich toaster from thewall socket before cleaning and
straight after use.
• Never use thesandwich toaster with atimer or atime switch that may cause
theappliance to start unintentionally.
• Never immerse thesandwich toaster in water to clean it.
• Make sure that themains cord is kept away from hot surfaces, such as for
example ahotplate.
• Do not handle thesandwich toaster with wet hands.
• Do not subject thesandwich toaster to dampness or blows.
• Check that thevoltage of themains is 230 V and that you are connecting
thesandwich toaster to an earthed wall socket.
• Do not pull or carry thesandwich toaster by themains cord. Do not use thecord as
ahandle or let it get jammed in adoor. Do not pull thecord over sharp edges or corners.
• Do not use thesandwich toaster if themains cord or theplug are damaged, or if you
have dropped theappliance in thefloor, left it outdoors, or dropped it into water.
• The sandwich toaster is only to be used and stored indoors.
• Do not open thecover. There are unprotected high-voltage components under
thecover. Contact with those components may cause electric chock.
• The sandwich toaster may only be repaired by aqualified service technician.
• The sandwich toaster must not be altered or disassembled.
