Siempre que use aparatos eléctricos,

PELIGRO – Cualquier aparato enchu-
fado permanece bajo tensión, aunque esté
apagado. Para reducir el riesgo de muerte o

1. Siempre desconecte el aparato inmedi-
atamente después de usarlo.
2. No lo utilice en el baño o la ducha.
3. No coloque ni guarde el aparato donde
pueda caer o ser empujado a una bañera
o un lavabo.
4. No coloque el aparato ni lo deje caer al
agua u otro líquido.

6. Mantenga el cable alejado de las superfi-

7. Nunca utilice el aparato mientras esté
dormida/o o adormilada/o.
8. Nunca deje caer ni inserte un objeto en
ninguna de las aberturas.
9. No lo utilice en exteriores, ni lo haga
funcionar donde se estén usando produc-
tos en aerosol (spray) o donde se esté
administrando oxígeno.
10. Este aparato se vuelve muy caliente.
Mantenga los ojos y la piel alejados de
las superficies calientes.
11. No coloque el aparato en ninguna super-
ficie mientras esté caliente o conectado.
12. Nunca bloquee las aberturas de aire ni
coloque el aparato sobre una superficie
blanda, como una cama o un sofá, donde
se puedan obstruir.
13. No utilice una extensión con este aparato.
14. No toque las partes calientes de este
aparato. Use el mango y los botones
o perillas.
15. El cuerpo del aparato cerca de las placas
se vuelve muy caliente. No lo toque.

DE USO
Este aparato fue diseñado para uso doméstico.
Úselo solamente con Corriente Alterna de
120V (60 hertz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en el
tomacorriente polarizado. Si no entrara en el
tomacorriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un electri-
cista. No intente ir en contra de esta función
de seguridad.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Asegúrese que su cabello esté limpio y total-
mente seco. Nota: Para lograr resultados
óptimos, le aconsejamos que utilice un fijador
ligero antes de secar el cabello. Conecte el
aparato al tomacorriente y oprima el botón de
encendido (ON). La luz de encendido.
Para apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de
encendido/apagado. El indicador de tempera-
tura se apagará. Nunca deje el aparato desa-
tendido mientras esté conectado. Para su segu-
ridad, el aparato está dotado de un sistema de
apagado automático que apagará el aparato
después de 60 minutos si usted no lo hace.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas de cerámica maci-
za se volverán muy calientes en segundos.
No permite que hagan contacto con la piel
después de encender el aparato.

Su plancha calienta instantáneamente y
cuenta con 5 ajustes de calor ultra alto, para
que usted pueda escoger la temperatura per-
fecta para su tipo de cabello, desde el más
fino hasta el más resistente. ¡Su plancha se
adapta a sus necesidades!
PLACAS FLOTANTES DE CERÁMICA MACIZA
CUBIERTAS DE TURMALINA
Las placas de su nueva plancha alaciadora
son largas para lograr un alisado rápido, y
aprovechan la más moderna tecnología. Son
hechas de y estáncerámica maciza 100%
cubiertas de turmalina, para que el cabello
se deslice fácilmente entre ellas, facilitar
la limpieza y lograr resultados óptimos. La
combinación de cerámica y de turmalina
distribuye el calor en forma pareja para
eliminar los puntos calientes que pueden
lastimar el cabello. Además, cuando se cali-
enta la turmalina nubes de iones negativos
que ayudan a eliminar la estática y el frizz,
dejando el cabello sedoso y brillante.
Notará que las placas de su plancha alacia-
dora son “flotantes”. Se hunden ligeramente
al cerrarse para mejorar el contacto con el
cabello, lo cual logra resultados más lisos.
Es un placer trabajar con esta nueva tec-
nología, pues facilita el alisado y permite
conseguir resultados profesionales en casa.

CALOR ULTRA ALTO & SISTEMA DE
CONSERVACIÓN DEL CALOR
La tecnología del calor instantáneo hace
que la plancha alcance la temperatura
seleccionada muy rápidamente, mediante
un potente elemento calefactor
de cerámica.
Su plancha cuenta con 5 ajustes de calor
ultra alto, para que usted pueda escoger
la temperatura perfecta para su tipo de
cabello, desde el más fino hasta el más
rizado o resistente. Esto no es todo. Su
plancha también está dotada de un sistema
de conservación del calor, igual a las
planchas profesionales creadas por los
ingenieros de Conair. A diferencia de otras
planchas cuya temperatura baja durante el
alisado, este sistema aprovecha una subida
de tensión que recupera el calor y mantiene
altas temperaturas constantes, para brindar
resultados óptimos. Este sistema avanzado
permite alisar cada sección usando la
misma temperatura, lo cual logra resultados
uniformes y procura un acabado perfecto.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 1 pulgada
de ancho por ½ pulgada de espesura
o menos.
2. Coloque la plancha cerca del cuero cabel-
ludo, abra las placas y ponga una sección
de cabello entre ellas.
3. Cierre las placas y baje la plancha lenta-
mente hacia las puntas, manteniendo las
placas bien cerradas.
4. Abra las placas y afloje el cabello después
de llegar a las puntas. Repita estos pasos
hasta obtener el estilo deseado. Según la
textura de su cabello, puede que sea nec-
esario alisar cada sección varias veces.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la
manera perfecta para alisar su cabello fácil
y rápidamente.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for house-
hold use. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz)
only. This unit is designed to be operated at
120V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other.) As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the straightening iron. Plug the
iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit. The
Power setting will become illuminated.
To turn off, press On/Off button (light will go
off). Never leave your straightening iron on
and unattended. However, should you fail to
turn the unit off, it will shut itself off auto-
matically within 60 minutes.
WARNING: The straightening iron's
tourmaline-coated pure ceramic plates will
get very hot within a few seconds and should
not be placed in contact with the skin after
the straightening iron has been turned on.
GETTING STARTED
The iron’s unique 5 ultra-high heat temperature
settings and Instant Heat technology provide
styling versatility for all hair types. If you have
fine hair, a low temperature will provide the
best results. If you have thick, wavy or hard-to-
straighten hair, keep the heat setting on high.
You can vary the iron’s temperature according to
your particular need!
STYLING WITH “FLOATING” EASY-GLIDE
TOURMALINE-CERAMIC COATED PLATES
The plates of your new straightening iron
offer extra length for faster styling and
the newest technology for better results.
Surfaces are for tourmaline-ceramic coated
ultra-smooth glide and extra easy cleanup
– any residue from styling products wipes
right off! The combination of ceramic and
tourmaline evenly distributes heat to protect
hair from damaging hot spots. Clouds of
ions, naturally emitted when tourmaline is
heated, eliminate flyaways and frizzies to
leave hair silky smooth and shiny.
You’ll notice the plates of your new iron give
a little, or “float”. This provides firmer, more

This styling iron features a ceramic
heater that maintains temperature during
use for precision styling. It heats up to
the temperature you’ve selected for your
hair type.
This Instant Heat technology has 5 ultra-
high heat temperature settings. There is
a temperature range that’s gentle and
safe for every type of hair, from the finest
to the curliest and most resistant, and
helps you create the look you want. And
that’s not all. Conair’s professional salon
standards of engineering provide you with
a uniform and improved heat recovery
system that maintains the iron at constant
temperatures. There is a constant surge of
power to ensure that heat is continuously
and quickly delivered for optimal styling
results, unlike other units, that lose heat
during use. This provides consistent styling
power so that every strand of your hair is
set with the same level of heat and comes
out the same way for a perfect finish.
Start with a hair section that is 1" wide and no
more than 1⁄2" thick. Open the iron and place
the hair section between the two hot plates,
close to the scalp. Trap hair between the
plates by firmly squeezing the handles togeth-
er. While maintaining the tension, slowly pull
the unit down along the hair section toward
the ends of hair. For best results, use a light
styling product before blow-drying hair. At the
end of hair section, release the pressure on
the handle and allow the hair section to slide
out. Repeat process on additional sections
of hair until you achieve the hair style you
desire. It may be necessary to repeat process
on certain areas, depending on the texture of
your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal
way to straighten and style your hair.
