1. Siempre desconecte el aparato inmedi-

2. No lo utilice en el baño o la ducha.
3. No coloque ni guarde el aparato donde
pueda caer o ser empujado a una bañera
o un lavabo.
4. No coloque el aparato ni lo deje caer al agua
u otro líquido.
5. Si el aparato cayera al agua, desconéctelo

7. Nunca utilice el aparato mientras esté
dormida/o o adormilada/o.
8. Nunca deje caer ni inserte un objeto en
ninguna de las aberturas.
9. No lo utilice en exteriores, ni lo haga
funcionar donde se estén usando produc-
tos en aerosol (spray) o donde se esté
administrando oxígeno.
10. Este aparato se vuelve muy caliente.
Mantenga los ojos y la piel alejados de
las superficies calientes.
11. No coloque el aparato en ninguna
superficie ni permita que haga contacto
con el cordón mientras esté caliente o
conectado.
12. Nunca bloquee las aberturas de aire ni
coloque el aparato sobre una superficie
blanda, como una cama o un sofá, donde
se puedan obstruir.
13. No utilice una extensión con este aparato.
14. No toque las partes calientes de este
aparato. Use el mango y los botones
o perillas.
15. El cuerpo del aparato cerca de las placas
se vuelve muy caliente durante el uso. No
lo toque.
16. No utilice este aparato con un convertidor
de voltaje.
17. Lea la información relativa al doble
voltaje que se encuentra a continuación
antes de enchufar el aparato en el
tomacorriente.

DE USO
Este aparato fue diseñado para uso doméstico.
Úselo solamente con Corriente Alterna de
120/240V (50/60 Hz).
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha
que otra). Como medida de seguridad, se
podrá enchufar de una sola manera en el
tomacorriente polarizado. Si no entrara en el
tomacorriente, inviértela. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un electri-
cista. No intente ir en contra de esta función
de seguridad.
Este aparato es de doble voltaje. Se adaptará
automáticamente al voltaje adecuado. Sin
embargo, puede que sea necesario emplear
un adaptador de enchufe (no se incluye) para
utilizarlo fuera de los Estados Unidos.
3. Cierre las placas y baje la plancha lenta-
mente hacia las puntas, manteniendo las
placas bien cerradas.
4. Abra las placas y afloje el cabello después
de llegar a las puntas. Repita estos pasos
hasta obtener el estilo deseado. Según la
textura de su cabello, puede que sea nec-
esario alisar cada sección varias veces.
Será necesario experimentar un poco al
principio. Con práctica, encontrará la manera
perfecta para alisar su cabello fácil y rápida-
mente.
TECNOLOGÍA CERÁMICA “EASY GLIDE”
Las placas de su nueva plancha alaciadora
están cubiertas de una capa de cerámica
súper suave, lo último en tecnología cerámica.
La cerámica hace que el cabello se deslice
fácilmente entre las placas y ayuda a eliminar
la estática y el frizz. Las placas de cerámica
distribuyen el calor en forma pareja, lo cual
logra resultados profesionales y deja el cabello
suave, sedoso y brillante. Las placas también
son muy fáciles de limpiar, ya que la cerámica
también es un material antiadherente.
Es un placer trabajar con esta nueva tec-
nología, pues facilita el alisado y logra resulta-
dos óptimos.
CALOR INSTANTÁNEO, 11 AJUSTES DE
CALOR ULTRA ALTO & SISTEMA DE
CONSERVACIÓN DEL CALOR
La tecnología del calor instantáneo hace que
la plancha alcance la temperatura seleccio-
nada muy rápidamente, mediante un potente
elemento calefactor.
Su plancha cuenta con 11 ajustes de calor
ultra alto, para que usted pueda escoger la
temperatura perfecta para su tipo de cabello,
desde el más fino hasta el más rizado o resist-
ente. Esto no es todo. Su plancha también
está dotada de un sistema de conservación
del calor, igual a las planchas profesionales
creadas por los ingenieros de Conair. A difer-
encia de otras planchas cuya temperatura baja
durante el alisado, este sistema aprovecha
una subida de tensión que recupera el calor
y mantiene altas temperaturas constantes,
para brindar resultados óptimos. Este sistema
avanzado permite alisar cada sección usando
la misma temperatura, lo cual logra resultados
uniformes y procura un acabado perfecto.
FUNCIONAMIENTO BÁSICO
Asegúrese que su cabello esté limpio y total-
mente seco. Nota: Para lograr resultados
óptimos, le aconsejamos que utilice un fijador
ligero antes de secar el cabello. Conecte el
aparato al tomacorriente y oprima el botón
de encendido (ON). “300” parpadeará en la
pantalla hasta que la plancha alcance la tem-
peratura mínima.
Para apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de
apagado (OFF). El indicador de temperatura se
apagará. Nunca deje el aparato desatendido
mientras esté conectado. Para su seguridad, el
aparato está dotado de un sistema de apagado
automático que apagará el aparato después de
60 minutos si usted no lo hace.
ADVERTENCIA: Las placas cubiertas de
cerámica se volverán muy calientes en
segundos. No permite que hagan contacto
con la piel después de encender el aparato.
SELECCIÓN DE LA TEMPERATURA
Su plancha calienta instantáneamente y
cuenta con 5 ajustes de calor ultra alto, para
que usted pueda escoger la temperatura per-
fecta para su tipo de cabello, desde el más
fino hasta el más resistente. ¡Su plancha se
adapta a sus necesidades!
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
1. Divida el cabello en secciones de 2 pulga-
das de ancho por ½ pulgada de espesura
o menos.
2. Coloque la plancha cerca del cuero cabel-
ludo, abra las placas y ponga una sección
de cabello entre ellas.

9. Do not use outdoors or operate where

or where oxygen is being administered.
10. Unit is hot when in use. Do not let heated
surfaces touch eyes or skin.
11. Do not place the heated unit directly on
any surface or on the appliance power
cord while it is hot or plugged in.
12. Never block the air openings of the appli-
ance or place on a soft surface such as
a bed or couch, where the air openings
may be blocked. Keep the air openings
free of lint and other debris.
13. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
14. Do not touch hot surfaces of the appliance.
15. Do not attempt to touch the housing of your
appliance near the straightening plate as it
is hot when in use.
16. Do not use with a voltage converter. Use
handles or knobs.
17. Before plugging in read the information
about dual voltage contained in the instruc-
tion section of this manual.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This straightening iron is intended for
household use. Use on Alternating Current
(50/60 hz) only. This unit is designed to be
operated at 120/240V AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other.) As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat
this safety feature.
DUAL VOLTAGE
This straightening iron will automatically
adjust to the proper voltage. Use an adapter
plug with correct configuration, prior to use
in outlet.
TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR
Hair should be clean and completely dry
before using the straightening iron. Plug the
iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit. The
LCD will read "300" and blink until at least
100°C temperature is reached.
To turn off, press Off button. Never leave
your straightening iron on and unattended.
However, should you fail to turn the unit off,
it will shut itself off automatically within 60
minutes.

The plates of your new straightening iron are

products wipes right off! The ceramic coating

INSTANT HEAT, THE 11 ULTRA-
HIGH HEAT TEMPERATURE SETTINGS &
UNIFORM HEAT RECOVERY SYSTEM
This Instant Heat technology has 11 ultra-
high heat temperature settings. There is a
temperature range that’s gentle and safe
for every type of hair, from the finest to the
curliest and most resistant, and helps you
create the look you want. And that’s not
all. Conair’s professional salon standards
of engineering provide you with a uniform
and improved heat recovery system that
maintains the iron at constant temperatures.
There is a constant surge of power to
ensure that heat is continuously and quickly
delivered for optimal styling results, unlike
other units that lose heat during use. This
provides consistent styling power so that
every strand of your hair is set with the same
level of heat and comes out the same way for
a perfect finish.
WARNING: The straightening iron's
ceramic-coated plates will get very hot
within a few seconds and should not be
placed in contact with the skin after the
straightening iron has been turned on.
GETTING STARTED
The iron’s unique 11 ultra-high heat tem-
perature settings and Instant Heat technology
provide styling versatility for all hair types.
If you have fine hair, a low temperature will
provide the best results. If you have thick,
wavy or hard-to-straighten hair, keep the
heat setting on high. You can vary the iron’s
temperature according to your particular
need!
Start with a hair section that is 1" wide and
no more than 1⁄2" thick. Open the iron and
place the hair section between the two hot
plates, close to the scalp. Trap hair between
the plates by firmly squeezing the handles
together. While maintaining the tension,
slowly pull the unit down along the hair sec-
tion toward the ends of hair. For best results,
use a light styling product before blow-drying
hair. At the end of hair section, release the
pressure on the handle and allow the hair
section to slide out. Repeat process on addi-
tional sections of hair until you achieve the
hair style you desire. It may be necessary to
repeat process on certain areas, depending
on the texture of your hair.
Some experience is necessary when learning
to use this straightening iron. After using the
iron several times, you will learn the ideal
way to straighten and style your hair.
