To reduce the risk of burns, this product
must be used in accordance with the following instructions:
1. D O NOT HEAT THIS PRODUCT WITH ANY MEANS
OTHER THAN A MICROWAVE OVEN.
2. THE PAD COULD BE PERMANENTLY DAMAGED IF HEATED
FOR MORE THAN THE RECOMMENDED GUIDELINE
TIMES. THIS COULD AFFECT THE WARRANTY.
3. IF OVERHEATED, YOUR PACK WILL BE TOO HOT TO
TOUCH. ALLOW IT TO COOL BEFORE REMOVING FROM
THE MICROWAVE. CHECK IF THE PACK HAS BEEN
DAMAGED. IF THERE IS ANY SIGN OF DAMAGE, DO NOT
USE THE PRODUCT. IT SHOULD BE DISCARDED.
4. D O NOT USE WHILE SLEEPING. AVOID FALLING
ASLEEP WHILE USING THE PRODUCT. DO NOT
ALLOW CHILDREN TO USE OR HEAT THIS PRODUCT
UNLESS UNDER ADULT SUPERVISION.
5. T HIS PACK IS NOT TO BE USED ON OR BY ANY
INDIVIDUAL WITH CERTAIN DISABILITIES, SLEEPING OR
UNCONSCIOUS PERSON, OR A PERSON WITH POOR
BLOOD CIRCULATION UNLESS CAREFULLY ATTENDED.
6. D O NOT USE THIS PRODUCT WITH LINIMENT, SALVE
OR OINTMENT PREPARATIONS THAT CONTAIN HEAT-
PRODUCING INGREDIENTS. SKIN BURNS COULD
RESULT. USE WHEREVER HOT APPLICATIONS
ARE DESIRABLE FOR PERSONAL COMFORT AND
WHEREVER RECOMMENDED BY YOUR PHYSICIAN OR
DENTIST FOR THE RELIEF OF PAIN.
7. T HIS PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE USED BY
DIABETICS, OR BY ANY PERSON WHO MAY BE
INSENSITIVE TO THE APPLICATION OF DIRECT HEAT
TO THE SKIN’S SURFACE, OR PERSONS WITH ANY
SKIN DISORDER. IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT YOUR
DOCTOR BEFORE USE.
8. T HIS PRODUCT WILL PRODUCE MOISTURE. DO NOT
USE IT RESTING AGAINST FURNITURE OR ANYTHING
ELSE, AS THE PAD WILL MAKE THE SURFACE WET.
9. C AUTION: DO NOT EXCEED 30 MINUTES PER
APPLICATION. RECOMMENDED TREATMENT TIME IS
10–30 MINUTES.
10. CHECK THE TREATMENT AREA EVERY 10 MINUTES
TO HELP PREVENT BURNS OR FROSTBITE.
11. ALWAYS CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN BEFORE
BEGINNING ANY HOT OR COLD THERAPY.
12. I F PAIN DOESN’T IMPROVE OR BECOMES MORE
SEVERE OR IF NEW SYMPTOMS OCCUR, STOP USE
AND CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN IMMEDIATELY.
13. DO NOT USE PINS OR OTHER METALLIC MEANS TO
FASTEN THIS BEADED PACK IN PLACE.
14. CAREFULLY EXAMINE INNER COVER BEFORE
EACH USE. DISCARD THE BEADED PACK IF INNER
COVERING SHOWS ANY SIGN OF DETERIORATION.
15. O NOT SIT ON OR CRUSH THE BEADED PACK.
16. NEVER USE THE BEADED PACK WITHOUT THE
COVER IN PLACE.
17. RE AD AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOX
OR THE INSTRUCTIONS PACKED WITH PRODUCT
BEFORE USING.
HOT/COLD BEAD PACK
Pain relief for the whole body
Ceramic beads retain heat for 30 minutes and provide soothing therapy for
the pain and stress of everyday life. Living a balanced life to maintain your
health and well-being has become an important priority. The Hot/Cold Bead
Pack is a natural way to ease the aches and pains of everyday life.
Unlike rice, oats, buckwheat or flaxseed, ceramic beads will not attract mold
and mildew, will remain odor free and will not dry out or dissolve after multiple
uses. The Hot/Cold Bead Pack delivers heat safely and effectively to provide
soothing comfort.
Some suggested uses include:
•Upper back relief
•Shoulder relief
•Lower back relief
•Neck relief
•Knee relief
•Menstrual cramp relief
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Caution: Follow these instructions carefully. Misuse can cause severe burns.
Overheating the ceramic bead pack in the microwave can damage or destroy
the product.
Use Warm:
1.. Ens e your microwave is clean and free of any food, debris, or liquids.
2.. Insert the ceramic bead pack in the fabric cover and place in mi owave.
3. In a 1,000+ watt microwave, heat the ceramic bead pack for 1 minute.
4. Remove from the microwave and massage the pad to distribute the
ceramic beads evenly.
5. When heated, place the ceramic bead pack over the area in need.
Use Cool:
1. Place the ceramic bead pack in a sealed plastic bag; this will prevent any
odors from being absorbed. (If stored in a sealed plastic bag, ceramic bead
pack may be placed in the fabric cover.)
2.. St e in refrigerator or freezer for a minimum of 1 hour.
3. When cooled, if not stored in the fabric cover, place the ceramic bead pack
in the cover and place it over the area in need of treatment.
HOT/COLD BEAD PACK LIMITED THREE-YEAR WARRANTY (U.S. AND CANADA ONLY)
Conair will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 36 months from
the date of purchase if the appliance is defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain service under this warranty, return the defective product to the service
center listed, together with your purchase receipt. California residents need only
provide proof of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions.
In the absence of a purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 36 months from the
date of manufacture.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING
BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO
THE 36-MONTH DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN, LIMITED WARRANTY . Some
states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations may not apply to you.
IN NO EVENT SHALL CONAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL,
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER
WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHATSOEVER . Some states do not allow the
exclusion or limitation of special, incidental, or consequential damages, so the above
limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights,
which vary from state to state.
