IMPORTANT SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially
when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be taken,
including the following:

BEFORE USING
KEEP AWAY FROM WATER
DANGER – Any appliance is electrically
live even when the switch is off. To reduce the
risk of death by electric shock:
1. Always unplug appliance immediately
after using.
2. Do not use while bathing or in the shower.
3. Do not place or store appliance where it
can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
4. Do not place in, or drop into, water or other
liquids.
5. If an appliance falls into water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water.

1. This appliance should never be left
unattended when plugged in.

facturer.
5. Never operate this appliance if it has a
damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly or if it has been dropped or dam-
aged, or dropped into water. Return the
appliance to the store or retailer where
purchased or an authorized service center
for examination and repair.
6. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
7. Never use while sleeping.
8. Never drop or insert any object into any
opening.
9. Do not use outdoors or operate where aero-
sol (spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
10. Unit is hot when in use. Do not let heated
surfaces touch eyes or skin.
11. Do not place the heated unit directly on
any surface while it is hot or plugged in.
12. Never block the air openings of the
appliance or place on a soft surface such as a
bed or couch, where the air openings may be
blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint and
other debris.
13. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
14. Do not touch hot surfaces of the
appliance. Use handles or knobs.
15. Do not attempt to touch the housing of
your appliance near the straightening plates,
as it is hot when in use.
16. While emitting steam, this straighten-
ing iron may cause burns if it is used too
close to the skin, scalp or eyes, or if it is
used incorrectly.
17. To reduce the risk of contact with hot
water emitting from steam vents, test
straightening iron before each use by
holding it away from body and operating
steam function.
18. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
This steam flat iron is intended for household
use. Use on Alternating Current (60 hertz)
only. This unit is designed to be operated at
120 volts AC.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
is wider than the other). As a safety feature,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one
way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact
a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
To turn on unit, plug into electrical outlet
and switch on. The Power/Low default
setting will become illuminated. To turn off,
press ON/OFF button. Never leave your steam
flat iron unattended. However, should you fail
to turn the unit off, it will automatically shut
off within 60 minutes.
TO FILL WATER RESERVOIR
WARNING: Never remove reservoir when
hot. Allow to cool before filling.
Press release button to remove reservoir from
unit. Open rubber reservoir cap and fill with
distilled water. Replace rubber cap and snap
back onto unit.

Keeping your flat iron’s easy-glide plates clean
is effortless because of its nonstick surface.
Simply wipe plates with a damp cloth after
each use to remove any product buildup.

nologies, and our 2-stage styling system let
you achieve longer-lasting, salon-straight
looks every time you style!
RETRACTABLE DETANGLING COMBS
The retractable detangling combs detangle
and tame even the most unruly frizz!
Three different comb heights, high, low and
off, make this the perfect flat iron for any hair
type, even thick and coarse textures.
The three settings let you choose from low
to maximum tension control. Set the comb
height that is best for your hair type.
Tourmaline ceramic coating on the
combs provides smooth glide and shiny,
healthy-looking results.
TO STRAIGHTEN AND STYLE HAIR
Hair should be clean and dry before using this
appliance. For best results, use a light styling
product prior to blow-drying.
To get started, pick up a section of hair that is
1½ inches wide and not more than ½ inch
thick. Make sure hair has been combed and is
tangle free. Place the hair section between the
two hot plates, close to the scalp, trapping the
hair by firmly squeezing the handles together.
Maintaining a firm grip, slowly slide the iron
down hair section toward the ends. When you
reach the end of the hair section, release your
grip on the handles and allow the hair to gently
slide out.
WARNING: While using steam feature,
do not place fingers on the ridged area of
the reservoir to avoid contact with heat.
IONIC BENEFITS
Ionic properties neutralize positive charges
in the hair, reducing the static electricity that
dulls hair and causes flyaway frizzies. Hair
instantly becomes more manageable and
shiny.
NOTE: The unit may produce a clicking sound
at times, which is normal for a high-output ion
generator.
USE THE +/– BUTTONS ON SIDE
HOUSING TO INCREASE OR DECREASE
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
If your hair is delicate, thin and easy to
straighten, minimum heat will be needed. Set
the temperature control to a low 338˚F.
Average to thick, or chemically treated hair
will straighten best at a medium heat of 365˚F.
Thick hair benefits from medium to high heat
at 392˚F.
Coarse, hard-to-straighten hair requires high
to maximum heat at 419˚F to 455˚F.
The uniform heat recovery system maintains
the plates at a constant temperature for con-
sistent results.
Experience is the best teacher – after using
the iron several times, you will know the best
way to straighten and style your hair.
You have the option to select low or high steam
for perfectly smooth and straight results. For
coarse hair, select the high steam setting.

ductos en aerosol (spray) o donde se esté
administrando oxígeno.
10. Este aparato se vuelve muy caliente
durante el uso. Mantenga los ojos y la piel
alejados de las superficies calientes.
11. No coloque el aparato sobre ninguna
superficie mientras esté caliente o
conectado.
12. Nunca bloquee las aberturas de aire ni colo-
que el aparato sobre una superficie blanda,
como una cama o un sofá, donde se puedan
obstruir. Mantenga las aberturas libres de pelu-
sas, cabellos y elementos similares.
13. No utilice una extensión con este aparato.
14. No toque las partes calientes de este apara-
to. utilice el mango y los botones o perillas.
15. El cuerpo del aparato cerca de las placas
se vuelve muy caliente durante el uso. No lo
toque.
16. El vapor emitido por el aparato es muy
caliente. Siga las instrucciones de uso al
pie de la letra y no permita que el vapor
haga contacto con la piel, el cuero cabel-
ludo o los ojos.
17. Para reducir el riesgo de quemadura,
pruebe el vapor lejos de su cuerpo antes
de usarlo.
18. No utilice este aparato con un convertidor
de voltaje.

DE OPERACIÓN
Para uso doméstico solamente. Utilícelo sola-
mente con corriente alterna (60 Hz). Este
aparato ha sido diseñado para funcionar con
corriente de 120V AC
El cable de este aparato está dotado de una
clavija polarizada (una pata es más ancha que
otra). Como medida de seguridad, se podrá
enchufar de una sola manera en la toma de
corriente polarizada. Si no entrara en la toma
de corriente, inviértala. Si aún no entrara
completamente, comuníquese con un electri-
cista. No intente ir en contra de esta función
de seguridad.
Para encender el aparato, enchúfelo en una
toma de corriente y oprima el botón de encen-
dido. El indicador luminoso se encenderá. Para
apagar el aparato, oprima el botón de apaga-
do. Nunca descuide ni abandone el aparato
después de encenderlo. Para su seguridad, el
aparato se apagará automáticamente después
de 60 minutos.
LLENADO DEL DEPÓSITO DE AGUA
ADVERTENCIA: Nunca retire el depósito de
agua aún caliente. Permita que se enfríe
antes de retirarlo.
Presione el botón de liberación para retirar el
depósito. Abra el tapón de caucho y llene el
depósito con agua destilada. Cierre el tapón.
SISTEMA DE ALISADO EN 2 PASOS Y
TECNOLOGÍA AVANZADA

cabello. El revestimiento de su nueva plancha

plancha alisadora es muy fácil de limpiar.
Simplemente restriegue las placas con un
paño ligeramente humedecido después de
cada uso para eliminar los residuos de pro-
ducto de peinado.

DIENTES DESENREDADORES RETRÁCTILES
¡Los dientes desenredadores retráctiles per-
miten desenredar y controlar inclusive el
cabello más rebelde!
Con tres posiciones (plano, bajo, alto), se
adaptan perfectamente a topo tipo de cabello,
hasta el más espeso y grueso.
Las tres posiciones le permitirán elegir
precisamente el nivel de tensión deseado.
Elija el nivel que más le conviene, según su
tipo de cabello.
Los dientes están cubiertos de cerámica/tur-
malina, para un deslizamiento superior y
resultados brillantes y resplandecientes de
salud.
FUNDAMENTOS DEL ALISADO
El cabello debe estar limpio y seco. Para
lograr resultados óptimos, use una loción fija-
dora ligera antes de secar el cabello.
Separe una sección de cabello de 1½ pulgada
(4 cm) de ancho por ½ pulgada (1.5 cm) de
espesor o menos. Cerciórese que el cabello
está peinado y desenredado. Acerque la
plancha al cuero cabelludo. Abra las placas y
coloque la sección de cabello entre ellas.
Cierre las placas.
Baje la plancha lentamente hasta las puntas,
manteniendo las placas bien cerradas. Abra
las placas tras llegar a las puntas.
ADVERTENCIA: Cuando utilice la función
de vapor, no coloque los dedos sobre la
superficie estriada del depósito de agua,
para evitar las quemaduras.
TECNOLOGÍA IÓNICA
Los iones negativos neutralizan la carga posi-
tiva presente en el aire para reducir la estática
y el frizz. El cabello se vuelve instantánea-
mente más dócil y brillante.
NOTA: puede que el aparato emita un chas-
quido de vez en cuando. Esto es normal y es
debido a la alta cantidad de iones generados
por el generador de iones.
UTILICE LOS BOTONES +/- EN EL COSTADO
DEL APARATO PARA AJUSTAR LA
TEMPERATURA
Si su cabello es fino, delicado y fácil de alisar,
elija la temperatura mínima. Ponga el control
de temperatura sobre 338 °F.
Si su cabello es normal o tratado, ajuste la
temperatura a 365 °F.
Si su cabello es espeso, ajuste la temperatura
a 392 °F.
Si su cabello es grueso o resistente, elija la
temperatura máxima (419–455 °F).
El sistema de recuperación del calor mantiene
la temperatura de las placas constante, para
lograr resultados uniformes.
La experiencia es la mejor profesora. Con un
poco de práctica, encontrará la manera perfecta
para alisar su cabello fácil y rápidamente.
Elija vapor bajo o alto, para resultados per-
fectamente lisos y sedosos. Si su cabello es
resistente, utilice vapor alto.
