Preparations for installation in aØ 68 mm hole in asuspended ceiling
1. Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes behind theceiling panel Warning:
where you intend to drill themountinghole.
Installation in aØ 80mm backbox
1. Carry out theinstructions in the Connection
sectionabove.
2. Push thelight fitting up into thebackbox.
3. Screw thelight fitting to thebackbox.
4. Press and snap theaccent ring (1) intoplace.

Safety instructions
• This product must only be installed by aqualified electrician.
• Before beginning any electrical installation always disconnect thepower to thecircuit you
are working on, either by turning off themain circuit breaker or by removing thefuse from
theconsumerunit.
• Ensure that there are no electrical wires or water pipes behind theceiling panel where you
intend to drill themountinghole.
• Theproduct is intended for flush fitting ceiling installation.
• Thelight fitting must not be covered with any heat insulating material.
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly.
• Do not touch thelight fitting when it is on or before it has cooled adequately after being shutoff.
• Avoid looking directly into thelight source when it ison.
• The light source contained in this luminaire shall only be replaced by the manufacturer or
his service agent or a similar qualified person. Caution to the risk of electric shock during
installation or maintenance.
Product description
Installation
Thelight fitting must not be covered with any heat insulating material.
Important: TheIP rating of theback of thelight fitting is IP20 whereas thefront of thelight
fitting is rated as IP44.
2. Make ahole in theceiling panel with a68 mm diam
holesaw.
Note: Thedistance between theceiling panel and any
material present behind it must be at least 42mm in order to
accommodate thelamp housing.
Preparations for installation in aØ 80mm backbox
Make sure that aØ 80 mm back box has been installed where
thelight fitting is to be placed.
Connection
Warning: This product must only be installed by aqualified electrician.
Thelight bulb is dimmable. Thecorrect type of dimmer should be used for best results.
Thelight fitting can be dimmed using anLED dimmer or adimmer designed for electronic
transformers.
1. Disconnect thepower to thecircuit you are working
on, either by turning off themain circuit breaker or
by removing thefuse from theconsumerunit.
2. Undo thetwo screws on theback of
thelight fitting and remove thecover
from over theterminalblock.
3. Connect apower supply cable
to theterminalblock.
• LED downlight for recessed installation.
• Can be installed in aØ 68 mm mounting hole in
aceiling or in aØ 80 mm backbox.
• Dimmablebulb
• Tiltable lampbody.
4. There are 4 screw terminals,
2 marked N and 2 marked L.
Theextra terminals can be
used to connect additional
light fittings to thesame power
supply cable if desired.
5. Refit thecover and tighten thescrews. Thecover also acts as astrain
relief for thepower supplycable.
Installation in aØ 68mm
hole in asuspended ceiling
1. Carry out theinstructions in
the sectionabove.Connection
2. Push thelight fitting up into
thehole and fix it using
thespring clips (2).
3. Push thehousing into thehole
until theflange (3) is flat against
theceiling.
4. Press and snap theaccent
ring(1) intoplace.
After completed installation
Turn on themains. Thelight is now ready foruse.
Instructions foruse
• Do not touch thelight fitting when it is on or before it has cooled adequately after Warning:
being switchedoff.
• Tilt thelamp by pushing theedge of theglass diffuser to thedesiredangle.
Care and maintenance
• Turn thelamp off and let itcool.
• Clean theproduct using alightly moistenedcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Make sure that thelight fitting is dry before turning iton.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general
householdwaste. Thisapplies throughout theentire EU. Inorder to prevent
any harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste
disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can
be disposed of in aresponsible manner. Whenrecycling your product, take
