Safety
•  Never let children use theproduct without adult supervision. 
Neverlook directly into thelight; it could damage your eyesight.
•  Do not subject theproduct to knocks, strong vibrations or 
high temperatures. Hightemperatures can damage thebulb.
•  Do not use theproduct if thesafety glass, housing or stand is 
damaged in anyway.
•  Never cover theproduct.
•  Never use theproduct in thevicinity of explosive gases or liquids.
•  TheLED bulb cannot be replaced.
•  Theproduct must not be dismantled or modified in anyway.
•  Theproduct must only be used on thesupplied stand, it must 
not be mounted on awall or ceiling.

Care and maintenance
•  Theexterior of theproduct can be cleaned by wiping with 
adampcloth. Useonly mild cleaning agents, never solvents 
or corrosive chemicals.
•  If theproduct is not used for anextended period, thebattery 
should be fully charged every second month to maintain its 
capacity.
Troubleshooting guide
Thework light 
does not comeon.

Charging
Plug adaption for different countries
Theplug of themains adaptor might need adapting to suit 
theelectrical sockets used in your country.
1.  Depress thecatch and detach thecontact 
pin plate from thebody of themains adaptor.
2.  Attach thedesired contact pin plate to 
themains adaptor (theknurled surface lines 
up with thecontact inside theadaptor).
3.  Ensure that thecatch snaps into place and 
holds thecontact pin plate on securely.
•  If thebattery is already partly charged and thework light shines 
thefirst time it is switched on, leave thework light on until 
thelight goes out and then recharge thebattery completely.
•  If thework light does not come on when it has just been 
unpacked (discharged battery), fully charge thebattery before 
using thework light for thefirsttime.
•  Use only theincluded mains adaptor for charging 
theworklight.
230 V mains power
1.  Connect themains adaptor to thecharge cable input socket(1) 
on thework light and to anavailable electrical socket. TheLED 
indicator (2) shines red to show that thebattery is being charged.
2.  TheLED indicator shines green once thebattery is fully charged.
12 V car power
Connect the12 V car charger cable to thecharge cable input socket 
(1) on theworklight. Theincluded 12 V car charger is only intended 
as atemporary charger as it does not always fully charge thebattery.
Note: Ifthework light is charged from the12 V socket of acar 
with theengine switched off, thebattery will only be charged to 
about 70 % (theLED will shine red all thetime).
If thework light is charged in acar with theengine running, 
thecharging time will be shorter and thebattery will charge to 
100%,i.e. theLED indicator will change from red togreen.
Switching the light on/off
1.  Thework light is switched on by setting the [ 50 % OFF 100% ] 
switch to either   or  .50 % 100 %
2.  Thework light is switched off by setting theswitch to 
themiddle position, marked  .OFF

100 % brightness
