Safety
• Theproduct is intended for indoor useonly.
• Always plug theproduct directly into awall
socket. Donot plug thetimer into anextension
lead or trailing socket.
• Never immerse theproduct in water or any other
type of liquid.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Never try to open thecasing.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperature,
dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or
moisture.
• Thetimer must not be used to control heating
appliance such as electric fires and radiators.
• Make sure that theplug of theproduct
connected to theplug-in timer is properly
plugged into thesocket of thetimer.
• Maximum power load of equipment connected
to thetimer:
2990 W, 13 A (18-1311, 18-1312)
3680W, 16 A (36-6245, 36-6246)
• Do not connect thetimer to other timer-
controlled equipment.
• Make sure that theelectrical socket that
theproduct is plugged into is easily accessible
in case it and theconnected product need to be
quickly disconnected from themains electricity.
• Do not connect products of this type to each other.
• Do not cover theproduct.

1. Make sure that all of thetimer segments are raised.

Care and maintenance
• Unplug thetimer from thewall socket before
vacuuming it or wiping it clean with adrycloth.
• Always unplug thetimer and store it in adry,
dust-free environment out of children’s reach
whenever it is not to be used for anextended
period.
Troubleshooting guide
Theconnected device is not activated.
• Is thedevice intact and properly connected to
thetimer? Makesure that thedevice works by
connecting it to another wall socket without
thetimer.
• Is thedevice switchedon?
• Is there power at thewall socket thetimer is
connectedto?
• Check thetime setting on thetimer.
• Apower cut could have changed thetime
setting. Thetime setting needs to be reset after
any power cuts if thetimer is to switch devices
on/off at thecorrecttimes.
2. Turn thedial clockwise
until thearrow points
to thecurrenttime.
Thefigure
shows 14:00 as
thecurrenttime.
3. Press down
thesegments for
thetime that you
want theconnected
device to be activated.
Thefigure shows that
thedevice will be
activated from 17:00
to 22:00. Itis possible
to set multiple
activation intervals
with a24-hour period.
This symbol indicates that this
product should not be disposed
of with general householdwaste.
