2. Connecting theEfergy Engage Hubsolo
Connect themains adaptor to theEfergy Engage Hub solo and
anavailable power point. Connect theincluded network cable
between theEfergy Engage Hub solo and anavailable port on
your Internet connected router.
There are three indicator lamps on theEfergy Engage Hub solo.
Thered indicator lamp lights first and shines asolid red,
indicating that theEfergy Engage Hub is connected to
themains and is functioning properly. Themiddle yellow
indicator lamp lights next and indicates that theEfergy Engage
Hub solo is scanning for atransmitter within range. Thegreen
indicator lamp shows that theEfergy Engage Hub solo has
afunctioning Internet connection.
Within thespan of aminute or two, both theyellow and green
indicator lamps will light for afew seconds and then turn off.
Theycan either be lit simultaneously or separately. Afterboth
theyellow and green indicator lamps have been lit for afew
seconds theEfergy Engage Hub solo will be ready for registration.
If your router is unable to identify theEfergy Engage Hub solo, then
you will most likely have to reset your router. Pressyour router’s
[ RESET ] button. Somerouters may require asharp pointy
object such as abent paper clip in order to access this button.
3. Connecting to Efergys online service
Follow theinstructions on thescreen.
In order to register your Efergy Engage Hub solo you will need
theMAC address of your Efergy Engage Hub solo, which
can be found at thebottom of thedevice. Youcan simplify
theregistration process further, either by using alaptop to
enable yourself to be closer to thetransmitter during registration
or by having someone assist you.
4. Linking theEfergy Engage Hub solo to thetransmitter
Complete theinstallation when you are prompted by clicking
the button on thewebsite and thephysical Pair My Device
[ Link ] button on thetransmitter itself. Bothbuttons must be
pressed within 30seconds. Itmay occur that thetransmitter’s
button needs to be pressed several times during this process.
Donot keep thebutton depressed, but rather push thebutton
quickly and release it.
5. Downloading theEfergy engage app from
theAppStore or Google play to your smartphone
The app will allow you to have aportable and practical way to
see your energy consumption online.
• Withacomputer you can always log in at
http://engage.efergy.com/
• Using your smartphone after having installed
the“Efergy engage” app.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. Ifyou are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.

Installation
The mains adaptor must be set to either UK or European
electrical standards before operation.
1. Checkyour existing energy meter
The Efergy Engage Hub solo must be linked to anEfergy
transmitter and to thesensor/s you have installed previously
alongside your energy meter. Checktheenergy meter to ensure
that all its connected devices are functioning.
Open theweb address, http://engage.efergy.com in your web
browser. Followthestep-by-step instructions in the“Sign up
now” dialogue box. Enteravalid e-mail address, apassword
and your password confirmation. Thenclick the button Submit
to connect.
