IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
3. Do not operate the appliance with damaged power cord or plug, after the appliance
malfunction, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest authorized dealer or after-sales service center for examination, repair, electrical
or mechanical adjustment.
4. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface.
5. To disconnect the plug from wall outlet, grasp the plug and not the cord.
6. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
7. Always place the appliance on a flat and stable surface.
8. Do not touch the product body. Use handles or knobs only.
9. Do not remove the toaster while it is operating.
10. Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted into the Note:
toaster as they may cause fire, burnt or electric shock.
11. Place the appliance away from curtains, and other combustible materials.
12. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that ELBA does not
specifically recommended.
13. Do not attempt to dislodge food when toaster is in operation.
14. Be careful when removing the bread from the toaster to avoid injuries.
15. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
16. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
17. Unplug the plug from wall outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning.
18. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
19. This appliance is for domestic use only.
20. Do not use this toaster outdoors.
21. Save these instructions for future reference.
Caution:
1. If toaster starts to smoke, Press “Cancel” to stop toasting immediately.
2. Remove all protective wrapping of the bread before placing into the toaster.
3. Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients when get hot such as butter.
4. Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster
from the electrical outlet first. Be sure not to damage the internal mechanism or heating
elements when removing the bread.
5. This toaster is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice.

CONTROL PANEL
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
As there is residue or oil remained in the toaster or heating element, it usually will emit the
odor for the first use. It is normal and will not occur after several times use. For the first use
it is suggested to operate according to the below steps, except without bread. Then let the
toaster cool down and begin toasting the first slice.
