Unlock and assemble
Unlock the transportation lock.
Connect the cover cable.

Install software
Click Install and follow the on-screen instructions.
Insert the Scanner Software CD.
Windows:® The installer starts automatically.
Macintosh® OS X: Double-click the CD-ROM icon on the desktop.
