· Keep this unit away from water and any flammable gases or liquids.
· Never short the battery by allowing the battery’s positive and negative leads to touch.
· Never dispose of the battery in a fire or incinerator.
· Clean the unit with only a soft, dry cloth.
· Keep this product away from children.
· Do not disassemble or attempt to repair this product yourself. High-
voltage components inside can produce a hazardous electric shock.
· Use only parts provided by the manufacturer.
PRECAUTIONS
INSTALLING THE BATTERY
1. Install the battery by sliding it into the battery compartment. Make sure the
battery terminals are aligned with the contacts in the battery compartment.
2. Press the battery into place until it clicks shut.
To remove the battery, press the release buttons and lift the battery out of the compartment.
When not in use, the battery loses approximately 3% to 14% of its charge per month.
Genaray recommends recharging the battery every 2 to 3 months, even if it’s not in use.
