(A) Setting up your MK100
• Insert 2 x AAA
batteries
(rechargeable or
alkaline) into the
battery
compartment.
Observe the correct polarity when
inserting batteries.
• Attach the MK100 to the Hot shoe on
your DSLR.

(B) Operation and controls of
the MK100
The DSLR may have audio level control settings,
which will work in tandem with the MK100. Test
recordings are recommended for optimum
results between the camera and the MK100
microphone.
Low Cut - Low Cut reduces background noise
such as wind and other unwanted low frequency
sounds.
Level Control - Level Control offers 3
adjustment settings, depending on the source of
sound being recorded.
The ‘-10dB’ setting is useful if the sound source
is very loud or very close, as it will reduce the
sound by 10dB.
The ‘+10dB’ setting is useful if the sound source
is far away or very low, as it will increase the
sound strength by 10dB.
The MK100 is fitted with a foam windsock. The
windsock is best left on at all times while

socket on your DSLR.
• Turn the Dial switch to ON
• Battery LED will show green if you have
enough power in batteries and will
show Red when battery power is Low
and batteries should be replaced
> Turn OFF the Microphone when not in
use to save battery power

(B) Fonctionnement et contrôle du
MK100
Les reflex numérique peuvent avoir des paramètres
de contrôle du niveau sonore, qui travaillerons en
tandem avec le MK100. Des tests d’enregistrement
sont recommandés pour des résultats optimums
entre l’appareil et le microphone.
Low Cut - Low Cut réduit les bruits de fond tels que
le vent et autres sons basses fréquences
indésirables.
Level Control – le contrôle de niveau propose 3
réglages en fonction de la source sonore
enregistrée.
Le paramètre ‘-10dB’ est utile si la source sonore
est très forte ou très près car elle permettra de
réduire le bruit de 10dB.
Le paramètre ‘+10dB’ est utile si la source sonore
est très loin ou très faible car elle permettra
d’augmenter la force sonore de 10dB.
Le MK100 est équipé d’un manchon en mousse. Il
est préférable de laisser celui-ci sur le microphone
lors de l’enregistrement afin de protéger du vent, qui

cellulaires etc… à au moins 2 mètres du
microphone.

Vous pouvez également connecter le micro
grâce à l’extension Hähnel (disponible en
accessoire), vous offrant 8 mètres de câble
supplémentaire.
• Pour les équipements professionnels,
connectez le MK100 en utilisant l’adaptateur
Hähnel XLR (également disponible en
accessoire séparé).

(B) Bedienung und Einstellung
des MK100
Bei der DSLR kann im Kameramenü die
Mikrofonempfindlichkeit für die Zusammenarbeit
mit dem MK100 eingestellt werden. Machen sie
Testaufnahmen, um optimale Ergebnisse ihrer
DSLR mit dem MK100 zu erreichen.
Low Cut - Hochpassfilter reduziert
Hintergrundgeräusche wie Wind und anderen
unerwünschten niederfrequenten Störschall.
Level Control - bietet 3 Anpassungseinstellungen,
abhängig von der Schallquelle, die aufgezeichnet
wird.
1. die "-10dB"-Einstellung ist nützlich, wenn die
Schallquelle sehr laut oder sehr nahe ist, da der
Klang um 10dB reduziert wird.
2. die "+10 dB"-Einstellung ist nützlich, wenn
die Schallquelle sehr leise oder weit weg ist, da
der Klang um 10 dB erhöht wird.
Das MK100 ist mit einem Schaumstoff-
Windschutz ausgestattet. Den Windschutz am

• Drehen Sie den Ein-Schalter auf ON
• Batterie-LED zeigt grün, wenn diese

Hinweis: Um Störungen ihrer Aufnahmen zu
reduzieren, halten sie Mobiltelefone, Pager etc.

Alternativ kann das MK100 an den "Hähnel
Mikrofonhalter" (als separates Zubehör
erhältlich) angeschlossen werden. Dieser
beinhaltet ein 8m-Verlängerungskabel.
Für den professionellen Broadcast-Einsatz,
verbinden Sie das MK100 mit dem Hähnel XLR
Adapter, (auch als separates Zubehör erhältlich).
