Model HCT2 Cylinder Thermostat

With an adjustable temperature range of between 20

oC and 90o

C, the HCT2 Cylinder

thermostat is suitable for mounting on either domestic hot water cylinders or larger diame-

ter heating pipes.

Features

Abimetallic sensor ensures accurate switching and control.

A.strap is included for easy fixing to cylinder

Installation Instructions

The HCT2 should usually be strapped on to the cylinder at a height of about one-third up

from the base - the strap should be tight for good thermal contact. It should be adjusted to

around 60oC. If set too high it may give rise to scalding, and if set too low it will increase

risk of the growth of legionelle bacteria, which could lead to serious heath problems.
