Function and features
• Flush installation of ifm TA / TT temperature sensors with 10 mm diameter.
• Process connection by G½ thread.
• The installation depth of the temperature probe can be adjusted to suit the
particular application.
Permissible overl. pressure: 10 bar.

C = spacer ring
D = clamping ring
E = O-ring (Viton)
(You can replace it by the supplied
EPDM O-ring).

►Grease inner contact faces of the thread with suitable paste.
The paste must be suitable and approved for the application and compatible
with the elastomers used.
►Slip the thread onto the temperature probe and set the probe to the requested
installation depth (L).
►Tighten the locking nut (B) and the clamping device (F) with a spanner / torque
wrench. Tightening torque: 25 Nm.
The tightening torque is important to guarantee the pressure resistance of
the clamp connection up to 10 bar.

When removing the sensor, the clamping device (F) should be blocked by
means of a spanner to avoid loosening of the clamping device.
