Functions and features
In conjunction with a prismatic reflector or reflective tape the retro-reflective
sensor detects objects and materials without contact and indicates their presence
by a switched signal.
Range 18 m (retro-reflective sensor with polarizationfilter); (values referred to
prismatic reflector with 脴 80 mm, E20005).
Installation
Place prismatic reflector or reflective tape behind the object to be detected. Align
the photocell and fasten it to a mounting bracket.
Maximum range is only achieved with precise alignment.
Electrical connection
Disconnect power before connecting the sensor. Connection strictly to the
indications on the type label.
Operation
Check the safe functioning of the sensor.
鈥㈩槂 The LED lights when the switching output is switched.
Maintenance
Keep the lens of the sensor free from soiling. For cleaning do not use any solvents
or cleaning agents which could damage the plastic lenses.
