) PRE-CONSTRUCTION BOARD INSTALLATION GUIDE

After determining the installation area for the

speaker, secure the PB board to the wall studs

while making sure that the inner rim of the PB

extrudes away from the wall and not into the wall

as shown in step 2.

Depending on the model of speaker being installed,

a bracket may need to be installed prior to speaker

installation. If required perform this step now.

Once the PB board is secured, cut a hole large

enough to accommodate the rim of the PB

board in the sheetrock panel.

Attached the grille to complete the installation. If

desired, grilles can be painted prior to installation

to better match the installation environment.

Secure sheetrock panel to the studs and apply

mesh tape and joint compound to hide the

installation seams. Make sure to apply joint

compound up to the rim of the PB board.
